What's your Favorite Xelor Build!, Build-a-Xelor Stop Watch!
posté November 07, 2008, 01:43:51 | #1
What's your Favorite Xelor Build! The title says it all. I've been playing Xelors since Closed Beta came out and have been playing around with all sorts of spell builds so I was wondering what everyone preferred for their's.

Re-did the polls to be more complete.

Enjoying my cha/wis ap rape build. Secondary skill set im currently using is agility, mostly for the sinistro, it tanks and it takes another ap helps me take on alot mobs i couldnt do as pure water tree.

I did have a pure agi xelor aswell, but as agi didnt seem to make a difference to my dodge and with no reliable 1 range attack, it failed. Sinistro did help, but still anything gets close, your in trouble. Also dissapointed as double attack didnt work with my needle, i assumed because it was 2 handed it didnt matter. anyone know if there are 1 handed needles or is this something to be implemented later on? (sorry for going off topic)

As far as we know weapon types' handedness is fixed. No way to know if they intend to change that later (I suspect not).

I'm kinda curious as to why there's no melee option on the poll. My agi xelor dual wields swords (to make up for the noted lack of melee range). I figure it will be able to use the future tackle gear for agi sacs and there are plenty of agi swords already. Teleporting slice and dice.

Nice given that squishies in Wakfu tend to be more set in their roles than Dofus.

I didn't add it because I figured that since the last skill for melee isn't there, it wouldn't be complete. I apologize; I'll re-add it now, since people use it. In fact, I'm gonna go make a Needle Xelor right now and see what I can add to the guide.

I think I might go old-fashioned intell build. I started with Xelors when I first registered the Dofus game so I think I'm going to do the same for Wakfu. Is intell still a popular breed for Xelors in Wakfu? I haven't played yet, but from what I'm hearing it sounds like it's going to be challenging for me to pick a build

So far, I've remade my xelor twice. First I was everything. Then I realized I wasn't specialized enough to get very far. Then I was fire, but that wasn't strategic enough for me. So now I'm water support. It's working out pretty well, but I'm probably gonna want to dip into air.

little confused... i plan on making a chance wep zelor belive it or not, messing around with everyclass, looking for secret powers amongst the classes, but 3 questions:
does the move faile dimmensionale, only occur every 3 turns? and do you hurt yourself with it? but whats that move where thers like a clock on the field and thers like a group of needles poking out one #? (confusing isnt it)

or you know what i COULD do? if i gave my xelor daggers or cards.... he could use it with faile dimmensionale, wow thats sinister is that even possible some1 plz inform me

Faille Dimensionnelle has no relation to weapons at all, and there is no reason I can see why you'd think it does.

As far as I can see you're getting Faille Dimensionnelle mixed up with Choc Temporel (Temporal Shock). Choc Temporel can damage you (It will trigger when its duration ends, and will damage anything standing on an Hour Cell), and features your equipped weapon in the casting animation.

If you're going to ask question in such a vague manner, then you'd be better off asking in a thread which explains the spells, than some thread talking about builds.

Faille Dimensionnelle has no relation to weapons at all, and there is no reason I can see why you'd think it does.

just some clarification, I thought this was a thread about builds considering the poll up at the top has to do with moves and elements(such as water or fire), and not to mention the name of the topic,"whats yout favorite xelor build"
and i didnt think that faille dimmensionnelle had anything to do with weapons, i just thought that i could use that move then use a move such as "double attack" using daggers

and gold i dont mean to get in a fight with you again i just wish that next time your reply wouldnt seem so offensive

If you didn't think it had anything to do with weapons, then what exactly is your question "is that even possible some1 plz inform me" referring to? Is it possible to hold a dagger or cards, and cast a spell? Why would this not be possible? If you've got the AP to spend, and match the individual spell requirements, what's there to stop you? Did you just drop some point of punctuation that changes the apparent meaning here?

I'm sure you'll think this is offensive too.

gold... really?
was that really nessecary?
just stop now before this escalates...again
we all know my build was chance/weapon reffering to faille dimensionalle and using daggers or cards, and by saying "could some1 plz inform me was reffering to my questions
there is no need for any insultive tones
ok?

Support/Water/Fire ftw, or Water/Air/Offensive

I am extremely new to this game. I chose Xelor because I liked the look. I choose Fire because it is easy to do damage with and I also chose Air. I have Air as an easy way of doing 3 attacks in one turn (AP stealing) as opposed to 2 with Fire and also I occasionally disable opponents by stealing 3 or 4 of their AP. I also like using support because I read somewhere that support is essential. I don't know why, because all the descriptions are in French, but I level it just in case. So for me, it is Air as primary, Fire as secondary, and a smidgen of support.
