(Sorry for my bad gramma)

Well, first off we don't know what will be the difference between f2p and p2p so no one can really comment on that.

As to the other questions, my humble opinion is that Water Fecas are the most versatile class in the game, or really just Fecas in general...they're all quite versatile. A Feca that knows what they're doing can pretty much control the fight however they please. Which class is the most fun is completely relative and something you'll just have to find out for yourself I'm afraid. They're all fun to me. I'm partial to Fecas and Pandawas personally. Fecas just because they're such a well-rounded class, and Pandawas because they have my 2 favorite animations in the game...their drunken stance and Malt Bloom spell.

Really looking forward to Sadidas being re-released, they're definitely my favorite.

I didn't play Dofus much, but I do know that there are a lot of the same spells and also a lot of new spells. I think most spells have been changed in some way. The way you level is almost completely different, really. From what I remember of Dofus, I think the Osamodas have been changed the most, but I could be wrong about that.

Yeah, I'd say Fecas are good. They're probably the best class if you just look at all-around ability. They have great damage spells, great AoE, pretty good healing ability, and their support spells allow excellent map control not to mention they're hard as hell to kill. You're not going to find a Feca that has all of those things at once though, you have to pick a focus somewhat. Water Fecas have the biggest range of abilities with their healing and damage spells, but Fire Fecas have better damage and Earth Fecas have better tanking skill.

I would say Osamodas are the most powerful, though, just in terms of raw potential. Osamodas don't have as much control over their fights, though, because they rely on the AI to do a lot of the work for them. I guess you're just coming from Dofus, in which case you may not be aware the Osamodas in Wakfu capture monsters to summon rather than having spells for each of their summons. Not all monsters can be captured, but most of them can be. The AI can be pretty stupid sometimes, but you can sort of give your pets commands with some of the buff spells. For example, one spell raises pet damage and causes the summon to try to attack while another raises the pet's MP and causes them to try to avoid taking damage. There is a spell that allows the Osa to take direct control of their summon for 2-3 turns, but you lose control of the Osa during that time.

Really, though, the characters are pretty well balanced for the most part. They're all very powerful in their own ways.

in the earth branch the flush build can deal a lot of damage. <--- i recommend you this build if you're new player

the water branch is nice but have risky spells that really need critical hits build.

the air branch rely on nice range and decent damage.

Question. Does putting aptitude points into healing increase Frenzies healing?

That's an excellent question. I don't think it does because it heals based off a percentage of the damage dealt, but I haven't tested it. I know anything that is a direct heal is affected by it, such as a Feca's Stimulating Glyph. I believe a Sacrier's Regenerating Mark would be affected by it, but I don't believe any percentage based heals are.

Okay also why is Vortex considered a glyph and not a trap?

posté October 13, 2010, 06:58:32 | #10
Because it doesn't have an infinite duration. I think.

Traps all have infinite duration, glyphs all disappear after a few rounds.

Nope, Traps don't all have infinite duration (Xelor trap is one that doesn't).

Traps trigger once, and then are done.
Glyphs last their full duration, no matter how many times someone steps on them.

Frenzy is a health-steal, not a heal... so is not effected by +heal effects.

Oh right, I forgot Xelors. I usually forget they even exist lol.

Yeah, that makes more sense.

And one last question. Is mark of resistance very effective? I read on the french board that it was good to get xp but I was wondering what everyone here thought.

posté October 13, 2010, 19:58:47 | #14
+Resists effects are more useful against monsters because monsters have very low +% damage. By comparison, at mid to high levels, players have much higher +%damage, so resists tend to make less of a dent on the incoming damage.

So does adding points into healing effect the saciers regenerate mark?

posté October 15, 2010, 23:21:07 | #16
in theory yeah
