Could you post a screenshot of the error? We might be able to translate it and give you a better answer.

Its the one that everyone else gets for having a crappy video/graphix card...

http://forum.wakfu.com/en/technical-issues...error-t331.html

this error. but its my first time playing. i've tried starting the game more than 3 times and getting same error.

Well, that doesn't really help narrow it down... I just want to see the error message.

i don't know if the problem is with the card(crappy) but they have some nvidia problems and many have said that wakfu worked before an update and now by, by wakfu!

Hi there Shokr, I'll explain how to take a screen shot and how to paste it onto the forums. It may seem like a lot of work, but it will be useful in the future.

1. When you see the error message, press the button on your keyboard labeled "Print Screen"
2. Open Paint (Start -> all programs ->accessories -> paint)
3. When in paint, press ctrl + v
4. Save file somewhere you can find easily
5. Go to this website http://tinypic.com/
6. Upload the picture, it will present several options choose the one that looks similar to this ->"IMG]http://i33.tinypic.com/fayoo1.gif[/IMG"
7. Create a post in this forum, copy the information from step number 6 and paste it into your post.

Oh I also have the same problem with the graphics card. I read on the French forum, that people with geforce 5 series and 6 series plus some ATI cards have the open gl problem

thats the error im getting, and thanks Divine.

Hi theshockr, thanks for the fast reply. Apparently you have an Open GL problem. Either your graphics card does not support opengl 1.3 or it is one of the cards which Wakfu doesn't recognize. To find out which graphics card you have do this.

Right click on the desktop then select Properties > Settings > Advanced > Adapter at this point the window should say something like "plug and play monitor and blah blah graphics card)

Post that here and I'll find out whether or not your card is opengl 1.3 compliant.

edit: If divine has a better way, let me know.

I think that is an integrated graphics card from intel. It does support open gl 1.3 but only if you have the drivers.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...x?ProductID=865 the last update for your card was in 2005 version 14.10.3
So check that link to see if you need to update your driver.

i have the same problem, is my card compliant? VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP
just wondering, also, it says OpenGL: 1.2 or something like that, does it need to say 1.3?

posté November 04, 2008, 20:40:13 | #15
There is no list of compatible video cards, only way to see is to try. If game does not work, wait for next update as developers are still working on it.

Sorry for the late reply, went out. Here is a link to the official intel website. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Fi...65&lang=eng this will take you directly to the correct drivers, all you have to do is choose from the drop down menu which operating system you use. Good luck!

Hi dbeasts, you need to find out which series you have. Under the VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP mark, there are V, K, P, C series.

Go to desktop, right click on the wallpaper and select properties > Settings > Advanced > Adapter. There you should see what chip type you have.

Once you know your chip type, go to the official site http://www.s3graphics.com/en/products/unichrome/ there you can select which model you have and download the latest drivers.

I tried that, and it didn't work. Thanks anyways. i'll probably reformat my other computer and try it on there.
