Please don't judge the game on this issue.

I have played lots of different MMO's in my time and have experienced much worse problems due to a patch than this one, and have stayed subscribed to them because I know the game is worth subbing to.
You and I have both signed up yesterday, but I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon, this minor inconvenience being less than a blot on the memories of this game we will undoubtedly recieve.

The subscribers will probably get their time back or be recompensated anyway, us who are playing for free haven't missed out on anything because of this problem.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm berating you, I'm just asking you to wait for the fix and then enjoy the game rather than be concerned about minor issues like these and letting them inpact on your experience.

It may be because the launcher's not included with the current game download.
I'm in the same boat at the moment, and I have only just tried the game today aswell.

I'm having the same problem. I've done as you suggested, but to no avail. I did submit a support ticket with more details, but it seems that the patcher is not downloading the executable.

It's also my first time trying to play the game. Could it be something to do with today's patch?
