Useful Char So I'm coming over from Dofus to try out this game again, so far I've played as Air Osa right after their release, Air Sram and Fire Cra.

Now, having played Dofus, several classes like Sacs and Pandas are indispensable in dungeons. Which chars in Wakfu are of a similar nature (other than Eni) and relatively easy to solo? I like having a char with a high damage output and (if possible) does not need go be in a face-to-face slugfest all the time (hence my previous choices of Osa/Cra).

Anyone got some suggestions? It took me months/years to decide on my main char for Dofus, I'd like to avoid that with Wakfu if possible  

an air totem sadida can be useful and interesting in group play and solo :
- the totem is one of the best support abilities, you can hit enemies 2 times with aoe and hit enemies that move a lot without chasing them.
- you are a res debuffer (-40% all elements thanks to the totem and additional -air res% thanks to sudden chill, air characters will love you).
- you can move opponents and allies thanks to k'mir and gust (but this last one cost a lot).
- if you go multielement with water you can heal the target of the totem.

Not sure if I like the Sadi, doesn't appeal to me much. Wouldn't the Doll-build have a higher damage output than a Totem-build?

How would the damage compare to a Fire Cra spamming Explo with Incan Beacons?

you have asked for an useful class that has some utility in dungeon and can be good in solo, the sadida is indeed that type of char, you can use dolls too with the build i've suggested.

if you want a class that deals a lot of damage you have to go for sram or iop.

i haven't played it but as far as i know a doll build has problem right now because the +hp% of dolls doesn't work and mobs of your level oneshot them.

I tried Sram for a bit, decent damage output, but as I said I prefer to not be toe-to-toe all the time, which is why I'm leaning towards Cra. Yet Cra seems to have very little group utility.....

*sighs* my life would be so much simpler if I could decide on what I want...

If you deal high damage you are not support, you are damage dealer.
You have to decide wich one you want.

Anyway i think that sadida is what you really looking for. There is no such thing as totem build. Every sadida uses dolls and totem. Notice that you can use totem as obstacle and send dolls to enemy to avoid being damaged. Also because of your dolls attacking enemy and you attacking enemy via totem you will have nice damage too. It wont be high right away as you ahve to summon dolls but total number of damage you will be able to inflict will be really nice. Also sadida is one of the best support in wakfu. You are handy in every team.

Currently sadida has many bugs but after release i expect them to be fixed.

I must say i started playing wakfu as Cra but when i met one sadida and had group with it and i saw the possible combinations i was so excited that i decided to start new char and make sadida too. Try and level your cra to 30 then go fight in group with sadida and you will understand what i mean.
