[Amakna] Elections-Nanners
As some of you may or may not know I will be Running for Governor in the upcoming elections, I'll be creating this thread for everyone who may be curious in what sort of political change and ecological change i want to bring to our Beloved Nation.
My Main Goal as Governor of Amakna will be to allow everybody who plays the game to have the best time they can in this game. Now you may tell me im dreaming if I think I can make everyone hold hands and sing Kumbaya and that may be true but im an optimist and I'll do whatever it take for everyone to be able to enjoy this game.
I will work on letting everybody from craftsman, hunters, gatherers and warriors to have a fair share of "awesomeness" this game has to offer. Here’s what I plan on doing with our Nation in the Future.
Wars
I have seen many threads with people ranting about not enough wars or too much wars. And to be 100% honest I do not think its possible for everybody to be satisfied with 1 Golden Rule. I have concluded that the best possible solution in wars is to have it in fixed times, therefore they'll be absolutely no surprises and you will have plenty of time to prepare for the war. (Collecting resources, getting out of war zones, etc)
Now to get into the actual mechanic of how the wars will work, I plan on making wars 12 hours long, starting from 4:00 am (GMT+0)~4:00 pm (GMT+0), this should allow everyone to take part in the war if they wish to do so.
Ecology
The ecology in Amakna is a house built out of straw, it provides a roof but there are so many holes that when its really needed it can’t provide the support it needs and requires constant maintenance. The crops, which grow in the nation lack in variety, crops in high demand are never replanted and crops in low demand are always left to repopulate themselves. This is a problem you can only fix when the nation finally learns to take care and respect the ecology.
But until that happens I have/and will implement solutions into making the best out of a bad situation.
Haven Bags
Now this is a completely new idea and whether works out or not will depend how effectively we are able to use it. I have set up a “Guild Haven Bag” which contains 13 Garden Gems and 2 Crafty Gems, currently I have only given my Guild and Lady Azurjai. But after I am elected as governor (in the case that I do win the elections) I plan on granting access for the ecologist and a few selected people.
Hopefully with this new haven bag system implemented we will be able to keep a unlimited supply of seeds/cuttings and be able to repair the environment extremely fast and efficiently.
If you are willing to give up your time in helping Amakna’s ecological state feel free to message me in game or leave a comment in this thread and ill get back to you.
Finally I would like to ask everybody reading this thread to replant a seed for every crop you reap, if even one more person begins doing this it will help out the ecology so much and the time we have to invest into repairing the ecology will greatly be reduced.
Government-Positions
Getting positions in the government have always been given to the wrong people for the wrong reasons I would like to end that trend, ever since I have decided to run for governor I have chosen several people who had the proper motivation and self sacrifice that the nation needed. If you think that you would be a great edition to our government leave a comment below in this format.
