Allow me to "bump" as well.
Today I fixed 2 of setters in Unna Bridge, they had a few mats donated already so I assumed people needed those fixed the most, getting 2 machines fixed in each house is pretty much what we're trying to do, since fixing them all will take forever. About an hour ago Ogrest's Chaos hit Unna Bridge and one of the setters I fixed broke, again.
I checked the rest of the Bridge and the count of 4 machines left to get professions back to being accessible, became 7 after the chaos, excluding one of the Tailor machines that will be ignored for the time being. Dear Ankama, we need a reply to this. Why is it possible for machines that were just fixed to be broken again? Why is there no cooldown until they can be broken again say two-three days... or weeks better? Why do so many machines break every time? Who do you even expect is going to fix them when it costs so much and there is no reward? If I quit begging people to help me get mats for these, then that's it, nothing will ever get fixed again! The player-base you hope for is nowhere to be found! Why do you keep releasing unfinished content and go for so long without updating it? Especially when it desperately needs a fix like Ogrest's Chaos? Why do you insist on coming up with mechanics that piss off players and continue to ignore and remove simple mechanics that are essential to this game? Why do you think you're allowed to take ages with bugs and content fixing either? If you're too busy with something else and aren't going to fix Ogrest's Chaos anytime soon, just remove it from the game until you do. Don't allow it to wreck the game until the time comes when you finally start working on it. Enough with your poor management, this game can be so great stop screwing it up, please. |

Sometimes I feel that dofus gets put first every single time, they hold off releasing Masquraider for Wakfu (which has been on Dofus for MONTHS nearly a year) to give Dofus a new class etc.
Even with Troyle working his ass off we have no way to contact anyone, and when we do and we are frustrated we always look like the bad guys. In the end we are paying them to play this game so the least they could do is provide a decent update service and correct the bugs ASAP rather then just letting them build up into a massive wall which they fix in an update which takes hours. It is crazy. |

I think one reason they often fix bugs in a big bunch is that if they just keep fixing 1 or 2 at a time the small fixes could clash with each other and create even more bugs.

Then again this element of the game is so completely unfun that I don't see why they can't just hotfix it. |

I see you like to live in world of illusions rather that where rules are set staight I don't know what you mean by this. I don't think anyone does.
Quote Didnt notice anyother nation blame this event only Sufokians "politicans" try to put stick into ant nest. If we don't point out the bad things about the game then how is it going to improve? Why are Sufokians complaining? It's simple really. Sufokia is the smallest nation, so the same workload falls on less shoulders. If you had the capacity for rational thought you would realise this on your own.
Quote If you dont ENJOY game just give up or try find something that will attract you more than social activities ( eg. fixing machines all the time then rant on forum ). If Odeen, and everyone who is helping her doesn't fix those machines then every single machine will break. In fact your guild has been in charge for 2 mandates in a row and fixed absolutely nothing, so I don't think you should criticize anyone.
Quote And i think Ankama doing great job soon they are going realise new update so they got all hands busy anough to dont think about your tiny problems. Just because YOU don't think this is an important issue, because you've never done a thing for your nation, doesn't mean that OTHERS can't think this issue is important. Example: I couldn't care less for changes to PvP, but you didn't see me being a douche in threads pointing out legitimate issues about the current system.
Quote So really go for a walk or something stop to take your "important" in-game job so seriusly I can't take your post "seriusly". Does that mean I win?
Quote Long life of Sufokians ! Ugh.
Quote ps. please dont bump it again How about not until we get a response to our legitimate gripe? Just because you don't care doesn't mean it's not important. |

You command your fleet pretty well all across sufokia and i should give you that. And yeah, any healthy minded myrmidons is suggested to stay away from government, it just doesnt work, this people is more fit into killing stuff rather than building so basicly they dont really know how pain in ass repairing machines. |

I may not be a government player but i DO know how anoying it can be to try fixing the machines.
broken torches, workbenches, it all adds up whether it is via the BigLug crying and throwing a temper tantrum, or from the wars (unless those broken parts are ALL from Ogrest's chaos attacks) if they want to continue the Ogrest Chaos events, why dont they simply move his wrath to somewhere that it wont matter how much damage he does? say..(since i have only been in bonta, i only know that map) the area above the sheep pasture. its got ores and wild angry looking gobballs and not much else. apparently it used to be for collecting the sets of gear but now they dont just drop from those mobs. i dont see why they could not just limit his Chaos attacks to that area on the maps, or at least, dissalow the destruction of a recently fixed machine. see, the chaos may be fun to deal with for those whi like to fight, but the aftermath is the problem for the rest of us. if the only things you ever do in wakfu are pvp and fight mobs...and you never craft, only buy via the markets, it dosent realy affect you. but if you craft....it messes up your day to get there and find you cant d a thing as all the machines are busted. |

I like to address another issue related to the broken workstations. If you sponsor a
workstation that money/ wood/ore will be gone after a maintenance unless the workstation is fully fixed. Odeen worn me about it but I could not resist fill out the money of few of them and after the Tuesday maintenance it was gone. This post has been edited by FineTapWater - August 02, 2012, 12:07:45. you guys don't get it don't you... your problem is that suf is a very low pop nation so it takes time to end up with ogrest and there is less people to rebuild stuff. French server is like totally full so this kind of problems don't appear in there, so I doubt they will change a thing.

I think, it's another example of keeping players "busy". We complain all the time, that there isn't anything to do in Wakfu, so Ankama does things, like this.
Same thing with old Nun dungeon opening. Do you remember, how they kept us busy for whole month with impossible to solve puzzle? Or current WB system. Camp for whole day to click as fast as possible. Now they're changing it for.. guess what... more waiting. Again keeping us busy by simply waiting for 1 week. They don't care, will you play for 7 days or just that 1 WB fight. You will pay the same money for p2p - it's all that matters. The problem is, they're succesful at keeping us busy, but not by good way. It's not fun at all to do those things. It's boring and annoying. Which is the reason, why so many players quit. This post has been edited by krowakot - August 06, 2012, 13:06:20. |

A low population nation should be able to somehow work with the game's system too. But you really haven't checked the condition other nation's workshops are either. It's the same everywhere, cause low or high population doesn't matter when players don't care.
Not gonna type everything all over every time someone tries to tell me I'm wrong without bringing any actual argument over why. Thanks for bumping the thread have a nice day. We asked for some way to get a reply to this, direct or not, when is that happening? |

Well the least Ankama could do is pop in the thread and say: "Hey, we're considering making changes to Ogrest Chaos." It takes zero effort to do so.
Actually, I did forward a complete report about this discussion, including your suggestions to the devs last week. Now the reason why I didn't post in here is that I don't want you to get false hopes and think that because I forwarded your feedback, things will change. I'd rather wait for the devs to come back to me and tell me if they'll change something, before answering. As usual, getting no answer doesn't mean that you're not being listened to. |
