No destroy about balance anymore After all of this patch,we are really tired for changing into other magic tree,and change our equipments.
Why should be so much and so big changement in all roles in this game?
I think Ankama hat got really big problem with its Design.

1,we all know,there was a big change for air cra,and all the other player were happy about that,but still ,we have lost many air cra players.They didnt know that,the change hurts them too much.
In that time,we all thinked,air cras are imba.
BUT NOW.
look around,we found Robot,Eni,and Sacri ... also so imba! and Ankama plan now to make a big patch too for them,to make them more 'common'.
The problem is not with the air cra,never! the problem is,Ankama has not a good plan,to make the equipment and Roles in coordinate and then make the good wanted balance.
Air cras were too strong,because they dont need too much euipments,and air equipments like Kokokos and Crows come in earlier lv. And now come new set and stronger set for fire and earth,then they make some other roles too strong.

from the begin,ankama should know,which kind of effect has the new Equipment! it decided all the rules,and all the most used skills and others.

2, if they dont figer it out.Then there would be always too strong roles in the future,and again and again strongly weaked by new patch.Now you see,air cra is too weak now,they make little damage than fire or earth cra,but cost alle BP!!!! and even equal to no scope damage.
it is not balance.
it is destroying,and rebuild,and destroying again and again.


3,my idea:
i have some ideas hier,and need your opinion.

3.1 equipment with hole ,is the worst design ever. We need too much time to make money for this,and wasted items to make rune.And not even the Rune we want. And the effect is,we payed more time for this,and at last we seemed still the same anyway.from outside to inside. is it a joke?and kommen players,have ever no chance to get good rune,and these equipment with those rune is really just funny!nothing else!

3.2 the design like Banditen in 4 Lands is really great. if it is really so so so hard for them to design 4 almost same dun. Then why not make 4 different kinds of equip at the same dun and wild monsters? you can make it in different colour. And even random and different Schadenbonus in equip is better than hole system.(the same item,one is 21% wasser schaden,another is 21 Feuer Schaden). And we can also make the drop item in different Grade like Produce.(from 21% to 26%)

3.3 with the not 'too much gap' equip,then lets talking about balance. Equipment IS THE FOUNDATION!!!
why not test all by yourself,and find out which role is too strong before you hurts someplayers feeling? and think about details,which role is harder to lv,or making little damage in battel,or drop little than others,and make them a little stronger than others. Because their lv and equip is in fact not the same with others!


i dont want to see more people leaving ,because of your impertinence and superficialness in test.
and what should Earth players do,when there are only fire and Air equip in this patch?
waiting for next next month to play? or spending weeks of time to get the rune?even the wrong one?

if you want our money,then dont threat us like stupid! We have players under 13 years old,but we have also doctors and engineers.Think it deeply!


sry,i just want to make this game a really perfect game,and need you to discuss!

PS:for PVP,all people make so high ini.and destroyed the balance. it is so easy to change.

Player A has 300 ini,Player B has 200 Eni,then has A (300-200)*0.1*%=10%, 10%+50%=60% chance to first attack in battel.
it is just a example,but this game need really very much calculate and simulate.

Firstly, I like your idea about initiative, I think that would make initiative worthwhile but not the most important point of pvp.

However I completely disagree that equipment is the problem or even the foundation to the imbalance.. It seems more like some classes can have high base damage of low cost spells, with also being able to invest in a passive health boost, and a passive ability to increase damage further, where as some classes have exactly the opposite.

For example, an air Iop, against an air enirispa.. Both with the best air equipment in game.. Air eni will either use lethargy flask, or psychosis flask.. Air iop will use jabs uppercut and that mp attack. For 2ap 2mp the air Iop has better damage, for 4ap 1wakfu again the air Iop has better damage

I agree that different spells have different costs and damages between classes, it's good and encourages diversity.. But it's gotten to a point where some classes are so imbalanced it's all we will see.

there is one HUGE thing in my opinion that ruin the game, and what they call "balance"
what is balanced based on? pvp or pve? they never talk about that!
you can fix PvE and RUIN the PvP, and fix PvP and ruin the PvE

i think the UNBALANCE thing is something you CANT avoid, since there is group battle, someone will "buff" your character and you will be stronger, is a NATURAL thing on games, a better group kill the weak group, and then come a COUNTER build, someone pick another char that give a great counter attack in and bam! this is the deal on the group battles.

i really think this massive amout of nerfs is for "almost" nothing, i agree in if keep buffing chars one time they gona lose control and dmg going to be like 10.000 on lvl 200, but KEEP changing how skills work, this is the bad thing, you played all this time and know the char better than anyone, then you have to deal w a diferent skill, this really suck!

and another thing, this things that ruin your build, and make equips that you paid hard amount of kamas on it is the worst thing ever! you cant never buy a item and say safly OMG I GOT A GOOD ITEM!
bam, they gona NERF your celestial broch and make it useless! nobody care if you paid 10.000 or 500!

Actually, I have to agree....
Instead of changing the tree skill branch....
why not make equipment which can slot in runes....
if you really want to revamp character i suggest you get in the game & look into it first ....
then open a side server which you can asked beta players to check it out for you for bugs etc..
afterall we are all paying to play....
runes or slotted equipment can be cash item...
insignia cash item which can overlap normal equipment but stats remain...
win win situation....
& when you got all your puzzle together....
give it a week of game down time for you to input it all in....
at the very least...
you won't be dissapointing your customers....
better equipment + better runes = better damage or whatever ini...
you earn...
we earn....
you can never please everyone....
there are always bound to be people who will be unsatisfied...
let them go out there hunting equipment or pay for better equipment...
of course...
base damage to all...
should of been all equalized....
at end of day...
it comes down to your equipment to be better...
means = you earning from selling it....
for us its if we want...
we can buy....
if not....
we just don't & it's at our own loss....
well damage & init wise...
allright just keep up the good job still though

i thinks all the above has a deep thought in it,if you want to make Balance,then first make the set in balance.

anyway,like 50 lv,100lv,130lv ,160lv,190lv,there must be at least 4 different sets to satisfy the balance's needs. for example,there will be 100lv water,air,fire,and earth set,even including special for Osa.

Equipment is not the source of unbalance in wakfu. The source is that ankama wants very much to stick to its own ideas for classes: cras being strong-attacking ranged classes, iops being strong-attacking CC classes, enis being healers, fecas being buff bunnies, sacs being tanks, etc. the problem is, the classes they feel should be strong damagewise because of lore recieve tons of damage and utility buffs while the rest are weak (excluding the all-powerful water eni, of course). The others, meanwhile, SHOULD have their respective unique abilities make up for the damage they don't have, but it just doesn't work out, especially if you're training a branch that's not the intended 'main'(sram air, eni water, feca earth, etc). So, if a feca is already subpar, imagine a fire feca, that, although it is the intended damage branch, actually does less damage than earth, and with less team support. Speaking of which, earth is completely OP even though feca's focus is on buffs and resistance. So the end result, we have a handful of class branches that are good, and all the rest who are only played for novelty. Ankama needs to get a grasp on what they want from classes, and making sure that, at least in PvE, they can all handle themselves with decently equal ease. for PvP, class branch specific equipment can be created to buff the weaker PvPers to the lvl of the PvP inclined class branches. At the very least, each class branch needs its own useful niche in PvE and PvP fights, and be able to play that niche well.
