Is there (ig) life after lv 105 ?! Is there any (ig) life after lev 105?! I'm asking, cuz I'm 5 levs from that myself and I do wonder a lot if game will keep being interesting while I can not xp my spells, thanks to the ''brillianttttttttt'' idea of the spell xp change. Will there be anything to be done? Or just boring grinding with no real purpose?

I leveled a bit two brances, and a bit more another one, but still, even my strongest branch doesn't have all spells not even close to 90 all; I doubt I would even get to have a single spell lev 100 - unless I play quite a boring game = using only that spell till I get it 100, lolol xD
My idea of playing my character was to max a branch, or get all its spells in their 90s, then start over on same character and level another one, then the third one, to be able to compare on my own the dmg/ resists of a hl char.
While they are others who have seen (and will see) their main element nerfed and in the middle of the character evolution they need (will need) to start leveling another branch to make their character effective for their own way of game play. (And there is no reset system, similar to dofus, nor I see how it could be implemented...)
All that is gone now, and we have not been warned, when some foolish people like me rushed to sub for a year when game was released (which I strongly regret now).

I am wondering what will you do, when you reach 105 lv:
-keep playing the same char, even if you can not improve it and you loose the xp for spells you should get (and which others already have gotten, until the very weird decision of changing spell xp system;
-try a brand new class? (and I wonder, why not having more available slots for characters, as in dofus, or the posibility to buy more slots,to be able to try all classes without having to delete characters on which we have worked?!)
-quit (when char reaches 105 if xp spell system doesn't go back), or wait till your sub expires then quit?
Right now, I have no idea what I will do... I feel dissapointed, mislead and tricked with subbing for a year and have such dramatic change implemented, with no significant compensation or possibility of reallocate the spell xp, and without the possibility to reach those who already managed to level more branches of spells. One of the things that attracted me to wakfu was the idea of being able to level my spells (and resists) till the levels I feel they suit best my character, and now me and all of you can not do that anymore....

Hi Powerrace,

And yes, there is life after you hit 105.

Personally, I've been 105 for a while now, and haven't lost any interest in the game. Being the Vice Governor of Brakmar i always have someone to help, and when i'm not doing that i'm busy leveling my professions, dealing with Ogrest chaos or running Vampire Dungeon to drop the equipments I'm missing. Also, I still need to start working on the runes I'll need to complete my set.

By the time I'm done with that I'm quite sure another patch will be released and I'll have some brand new content to play with, more sets to drop and a few more levels to grind through.

Concerning the spells, just like you I have no level 100 spell, but I don't find this as a great issue, since having my experience spread over many spells leads to more %damage/resist in comparison with other characters at my same level, hence not making me any less competitive in pvp than a character with a maxed out spell.

As far as I can tell, lvl.105 doesn't change the game much if you like parties and helping your friends since as long as you'll have someone needing your help, you'll always have something to do. It's not a matter of "is there something to do" or not, if you enjoy the game and want to keep playing then you won't grow bored.

Answering to your last questions, yeah, I do play my main, and i find it refreshing to play an alt too sometimes, testing some builds nobody seems to care about. That said I have absolutely no intention to quit.

Regards,

-Lindel

i took a break for 2 weeks from leveling. tryin alts... some profs like 90 jeweller or 80 chef...
but what i really feel now - ill just take a break fro W for a month or so (my 3 months will end soon) and then come back

so rly if you are not up to crafting or leveling your guild that seems like the solution its summer time after all
or you can always go and play some d3 until W will get new content

I create alts on my 2nd account. Currently, I'm only 97 so I'm using that 98-105 exp on leveling alts.

By the time I reach lv 105, I will have another alt at lv 60-70 something. Then, I will just get that alt again to lv 105.

This way, I will have many chars and builds ready for dungeons, PVP, duel and stuffs.

Nyeheh~

i agree with powerrace... i don't think i'll play anymore my char when i'll reach lvl 105...
if i'll still want to play, i'll creaqte an alt and start over from beginning, and so on... if not, i'll quit, and i think i'll not be the only one, since many people has already quitted. nice work ankama... this is the first game that was better on beta then on release^^
i hope they'll think again about some changes they've made...and still hope they'll take the max lvl to 200, like in dofus..
