Let me also note that the "no denunciation" rule is not censorship, it's for your protection. It's so the entire forums don't become people hurling unfounded accusations at each other. Moderators don't have the in-game powers to even try to verify every single accusation, so the only options are "let everyone accuse anyone of anything, turning the forums into a giant morass of harassment", or "don't let anyone accuse anyone of anything on the forums, and have them deal with such things in private", and they elected for the latter.

If they went for the former, then anyone could come on here and post "Hey, Swordguy stole all my stuff and killed my dog and set fire to my house and called my grandma mean names, so everyone should kill him all the time until he's driven away from the game. I did mention he killed my dog, right?" Would you really like that better? Is that really your idea of a "pleasant environment"?

Heck, I'm really surprised this topic hasn't been flat-out deleted, not just edited to remove names, because it's clearly just turning into an argument that's doing nothing but dragging the whole tone of the forums down.

Sadly, this is true. If this was normal forum, we could make a blacklist of scammers. But this is Ankama's forum with Ankama's rules, so such a list is impossible to make.
Imho sandbox game, where you can do whatever you want (including stealing), doesn't cooperate well with all those rules on its forum.

Even the thief himself came to this topic and owned up to stealing, but mods are still protecting his nick. This is just too funny.

Well, look at the post immediately above mine. Suddenly this guy is a "thief" because some other person overpaid him, and what should have been a "live and learn" experience for the topic creator is turning into a witch hunt.

Or do mods on this forum not have the ability to delete topics? If so, that's strange.

Rotfl, he is a thief. How else can you imagine stealing in Wakfu? You can't pickpocket someone. You can't beat him and take his money. You can't break into his house. You can't steal his car.
Mistakes in trading option are the only way to scamm (steal) something in this game. And this topic is the perfect example of stealing.

Granted, he could have been nicer about it and given back the excess when he was told it was a mistake, but that just makes him.... impolite (I use that word rather than a stronger one in order to not break forum rules myself). It doesn't make him a thief, or a criminal, or a rulebreaker of any kind.

Did you discuss the price, before trading? If yes, you accepted 60g, but you took 600 - then you're a thief. Don't deny, don't act like retard. You know, you didn't get those 540g by honest way.

You put the kamas in the trade, then accepted.
You accepting the trade, meant you accepted what was being traded. Tough luck.

I honestly admit that the guy was stupid enough to make that kinda mistake but wouldn't be rational to just give him his kamas back and make this a lesson for him to not do it again?

As for the person who has his kamas, Com'on man u do know that what the guy is experiencing with the kind of support he got atm isn't really a good example for everyone to stay in the game right? I mean what good will it give you of taking the 540 kamas if later on ppol will stop playing the game because of this kinda behavior..I knw he made a mistake and I agree with you but that won't do any good right? seriously think about it..

Last time something happend to me, I was selling Neckfut and had 2 of it packed in one slot, had an offer from a random guy, he put his kamas, and I didn't notice it was 2 items in one, so put both of it, accepted, he accepted too. After like 2mins I noticed that one of the Neckfuts is lost, so I asked that guy and now listen to me carefully... HE GAVE IT BACK. He didn't want any award for that, but as he is a honest person I gave something to him. Even that thing - the number of packs of the same thing is fu... up.

Even if the 540kamas isn't much for people like me, who shouldn't even take care of topics like this, it is alot of money for low-level players WHO YOU SHOULD TAKE CARE OF dear nubsters, becouse there will be one day, the day of deficit, when you won't be able to sell your hax n' pown stuff.

As far as I remember this is RPG game so maybe this guy who "robbed you" pretend to be a thief in game - role playing game.
And seriously... cry on forum because of your own inattention... childish...

Stop reffering to the real life rules or else you will start to sue ppl for the murder of your in-game character.

1) dont want such mistakes - dont buy directly and go to market
