On Player Behavior
posté May 21, 2012, 06:17:06 | #1
On Player Behavior I met a player in Bonta's market. I wanted to buy 300 Rye grain from him for 30 kamas... so he opened trade and put 600 Rye grain in the trade. I wanted to give him 60 kamas, but by mistake I put 600 kamas in the trade. I then tried to get the 540 kamas back from him, but he refused.

I asked the help of the player's guild leader, and he told me talk to this player's friend, so I did.
Then he told me that the player doesn't have to give the kamas back but he will talk to him and try to help me.
Then after a while I whispered the trader's friend again, "did you talk to your friend?" He ignored me

Mistakes like this sometimes happen to anyone. If this happend in real life, you cannot walk away and tell the victim "Sorry, this not my problem", but because this is in the game, people can ignore the victim and laugh. Those people have no shame; no pride at all; their personality is very bad. I post my experince here because I don't want other players to make the same mistake I did. When you trade with someone never click trade straight away; look at what you are getting and what you are giving - it's very easy to make a mistake and I also want you to be careful trading to some people, because they are not honest if by mistake you gave them extra money. They wont return it, they might even scam you.

Although the behaviour of that guy was wrong, lumping a whole guild in it isn't very appropriate. As far as I know, removed is at least a guy with rational thinking.

Anyway, this thread probably will get a warning soon for forum rule violation...

I know what happened in that trade is 100% my mistake, my fault, but normal people would have given the kamas back. This guy has no shame; no self respect; no pride at all. I hate that kind of people. I don't know removed very well, but I just posted my experience because I want everyone to be careful when trading with other players. I mean, see what happened to me? And I know posting names is against the forum rules, and I'm sorry.

Hi my name's Illuminatis

Swordyguy301, first want you to understand that you missed the correct amount, and so we will not pay for your mistake, I have no blame for your mistakes, I ask apologies for all.

I am not very appropriate? Haha gotta laugh at you! First I worry about leveling the guild, I am a top 1 in craft xp of my guild and I want you to think two times before making an exchange with someone from now on!

Im so incredbly angry right now its people like you who have no concept of right and wrong that makes me wish there were hell!

you make me sick and i refuse to think of you as human being in my eyes youre nothing more than trash

Edit:

  • "Denounce specific players for their behavior in game"

This right here is prime example of pure stupidity this is a sandbox game and there going to be criminals and we cant discuss that on the forums?! What if we as players want to build list of scammers on game according to this rule were not allowed to do so?

I stole kamas?? or was he who was wrong in giving me the kamas?

posté May 21, 2012, 07:30:41 | #9
It was obviously an accident you should have the courtesy to return the Kama.

it's not a real life, its a game.
u meet a 'bad' person, u made a mistake. but no one can help u with it.
after all, do u have screenshots of trade? screenshots of ur conversation? something? i dont think so.
so, another one thread about nothing.

if you issue a ticket for support they ignore you and if you violate the forum rules they replay with the speed of light and their game rule protect the injustice how can you create a pleasant environment for players like this?this is enough i'm leaving the game i'm not losing anything anakama will lose and will continue to lose more and more coz of their bad customer support

posté May 21, 2012, 08:56:35 | #17
Something you need to understand is that ticket support staff are employed by Ankama, whereas moderators are merely volunteers, we simply can't do anything on the forums about you giving someone extra kamas and the other person not returning them.

What we can do, however, is enforce the forum rules, which is all we're really here for.

posté May 21, 2012, 08:58:25 | #18
If he doesn't plan on returning then he obviously won't return it no matter what we said.

The only thing the other side can do is to suck it up and be more careful next time.

Pointing and shouting won't really do anything but makes him feels better. Sure he will be hated in the future but unless someone is ready to start a war and pk him nonstop for it, nothing will really happen to him. He won't get banned or punished for it.

Nyeheh~

Lmao?

You`re leaving the game because you have butter fingers? From my experience, you have to enter the amount of kamas, click the hands sign to submit the amount, wait around 3-4 seconds before you could actually submit the entire trade. How the hell could you blame anyone for this apart for yourself, let alone ankama?

Yea it was indecent for the guy to have not returned the kamas, but dude, you`re blowing things WAY out of proportions.

It's called natural selection. 'nuff said.
