NGG : Let's have Sufokia and Brakmar declare war to help their market!

Citizen of Bonta : Lolwat

Citizen of Brakmar 1
: Let's try selling stuffs in Brakmar then...WHY IS NO ONE BUYING MY STUFFS LIKE IT WAS WHEN I SET IT UP IN BONTA

Citizen of Brakmar 2
: Let's see, a passing Sufokia... no sell.

Citzen of Sufokia 1 : OMG A BONTARIAN/AMAKNIAN INVADING US!

-Sufokia and Brakmar suffers even more because we obviously know Bonta has much more firepower and better economy-

Citizen of Brakmar 1/2 + Citizen of Sufokia : SCREW THIS. I'M MAKING A BONTARIAN.

NGG : ... LET'S KEEP TRYING AGAIN! MORE WAR

Citizen of Bonta : LOLOLOLOL

I pretty much summed up what will happen for you.

Cloudy definately needs to be included in this, since bonta are by in large the best nation of Wakfu.(probably stronger than all the other nations combined as well)

Hi, I'm challenger of Bonta gov. (most useless seat). And I was in the chat when Cloudi and other nations' gov. talked about this. We asked "what the hell is this?" they said "that is just an opinion, we won't apply that before talking to you".

They discussed and agreed that idea is not going to change anything. But since many things will change after patch, that period can be used as an experiment.

We were aganist 3v1 but agreed with law changes. But they did whatever they wanted. And from looks, that didn't change much.

After patch shock is over i'll force them to gather again. And discuss removal of Disobedience law (aka -3cp law)

Note : Cloudi is getting like 10 pm in a minute. Even i get a few. So they are trying to keep up with chat. PM's, guild chat, people around, gov. chat, other govs. etc. He is really bored with that. He couldn't "play" since election. Also politics with other nations is a really weird thing.

So if you plan to apply for election, think again

OK I think something is unclear. Neutral state is NOT declaring a war. Declaring a war is only working for worse state for both nations. For now everything is upside down, I have no idea what is LH up to, hope to clear it sooner or later, but this is matter of communication with Bersa now, not me. I wish it wasn't messy like it is, but well, tough time shatter, strong arm after.

As I mentioned before - Bonta IS stable and strong nation, and settlement made wouldn't damage it more, than it would any other. If it was otherwise, noone would agree on that, especially Cloudi!

Lol, I just noticed at least Sufokia is still clinging to this nonsense.

Did you actually watch your own market recently? You have 130 different items on sale on your boards. That is a lot less than ever before. That is all due to your idiotic protectionism. Meanwhile in Bonta there are more products on sale than before your super smart idea. You actually did Bontan merchants a favor with this.

Welll I guess it is time for: I told you so!

Yet you seem to be too stubborn to admit it and keep continuing this idiocy.

Actually, the Amak/Suf war is entirely Amaks fault. Our 'ecologist' (giving her that title being an insult to actual ecologists) and VP decided to go on a crop burning spree and plant tuberbulb swastikas around the place.

Classy. But what can you expect from an LH based government besides stupidity? There's a reason they've got more negative votes on their popularity.

I don't know if anyone noticed that market happened to be a bit more live then in Amakna, and I do think not a lot noticed that it lasted only two days, before all went poof under Bersa's hand. So whatever happens now with Bonta's market is what was happening all time before trial of Neutral State - people don't have need to check Amakna's of Sufokia's market for, as we tried, local resources, so they don't check offer and don't drop items for sale anywhere else than in biggest "famous" one. Instead of 700k per day we make 300 in tax, 3,400k was spent for noone-never-was-notified-what and actually.. nothing is being done.
I see reason, why war does affect all markets in negative way - I also did expect that being nearly forced to use different ones, people will make them spin more dynamic. Is that so impossible to happen, d'you think?

Yes, just take basic economic courses to understand the mechanics of markets in more detail. Prohibition in any way has never ever fostered any market, it makes them slowly die. As can be seen in Sufokia right now. Economy is nothing where you can just sit together in your little circle of friends and think about some random stuff that sounds good in your heads.

I was a fairly big trader and I removed all my goods from all markets but Bonta because of this nonsense and I am by far not the only one who did it. Just take a look at the markets. Bonta is bigger than ever and the rest is smaller than before.

There needs to be a proper circulation for markets to grow and there need to be people everywhere. Sufokia and Brakmar are by and large uninhabited and everyone denying that this is the reason for all the problems is falling for an illusion.

Do you guys really know anything at all? We didn't even want the weekend war Cloudi told us his seat's were forcing his hand. Now were back to neutral again I purposely made it so we stayed allied in the past week and where are all these Bonta sellers that were gonna start selling on Sufokias markets again if we become allied. Where is the protection from Bontarians for Sufokian merchants trying to still use your markets when we are neutral and still got level 105's attacking us at 5th.

Yeah you can all poke fun at Sufokians for trying to repair a broken economy but believe me the NGG may not have worked how they expected but to insult them for not sticking to it you got some front. Your all coming on here saying your bit but in 3 weeks I've had no one approach our government to try and resolve this issue. You should all be politicians all talk and no substance in your words, we can all type up very well spoken literal terminology for arguments and resolves but actually doing something about it...

But you all keep saying your markets are thriving so why are you even bothering with this thread seriously? Please don't give me the reply "but you didn't answer my comments" or anything along them lines, I don't wanna get in a cat fight like little school girls over who's right and wrong or how well I can word a sentence. If you really want to solve the problems I'll be happy to talk to you in game and try discuss the problems with you and my Government.

Dusteh

I was simply amused to see the laws still in place when I went to Sufokia this morning. It is annoying to see I still cannot harvest ressources in your country even though this all failed so horribly. The war doesn't concern me, it was only the fact that you still have prohibitive laws in place.

Also, welcome to the world of politics. You took the job, now prepare for the incoming sh*tstorms. It is your job to better find a solution. Trying is the equivalent of failing in the world of politics. And yes I know very well what I am talking about, I have managed bigger political entities than the nation of Sufokia (even if we strictly stick to computer games)

I was running around as an Outlaw for nearly 30 minutes in sharko map.

It's literally deserted now.

Ah well, guess I will try to hunt for shark stuffs with outlaw status later if they don't plan on removing the law and stop with this thing and becomes Bonta's ally again so I can do challenges.

Shalei, you say first that you take all items into Bonta's market, what is exactly opposite that what all this plan was about, and then you say that all markets are smaller.

What about removing law of animal protection, so grinding groups can come, and leaving ecological, to let harvestable matts to be gained only via market?

Shutting down other nation from doing anything will not making your nation grow.

It will do the opposite.

I won't be surprised if a lv 100 decide to go harvest, become an outlaw and happily kill every low level sufokians running around. This doesn't really protect your nation, it only pisses off your enemies.

"but this is matter of communication with Bersa now" you have a member of your guild in the government yet you seem to be unable to notify us on what bersas plans are for amkana. As a Ex-Governor you should take some responsibility into your own hands as ive heard rumours that this whole"War with Bonta" idea was your to begin with...

If Bers would even consider Caru as existing person. Or put in this seat from any other reason than ability to speak russian, like Mila two mandates ago. Until he's not actually doing anything, or until Carulina get a discussion with other members that actually want to change something AND succeed to break any idea into his head, probably nothing will happen. Besides, I have no right to force anything on Caru nor use her as puppet; being a peson that can warn about incoming actions and eventually express to him opinion sometimes - with mere effect - is enough.

To sum up both posts, I tell: It's clear that state of things that was set back then was harming Bonta - but would it cause it fall? Ever? That strong nation, of that caliber? If it would, Cloudi would never agree on that. To top that all one Bonta zaap is protected so well, that three wars at once won't let any group stay within borders for more than fewteen minutes. One can't pour wine from empty pot.

What about removing law of animal protection, so grinding groups can come, and leaving ecological, to let harvestable matts to be gained only via market?

You see what happens here is the following: Because of your prohibitive laws people don't travel to Sufokia or Brakmar anymore. There is no incentive to since they would commit criminal acts far too easy. That way they stay home and also don't pass by your markets at all. Thus the markets find no customers.

In the meantime your own people gather the materials as you had planned. But:

They don't sell those in Sufokia..because why would they? Nobody is buying there anyway. They obviously travel to Bonta to sell their goods where the customers are.

So your entire idea backfires and creates the exact opposite of what you wanted. The small markets die completely while Bontas market becomes even bigger.

The answer to a weak market is not prohibition. It is opening up the borders. Create incentives for people to come. For example let the governments host a PvP tournament at the market places. Have some nice prices so the best will participate, those guys then will bring their guild mates as spectators and maybe people will see "Oh, Sufokias market looks quite nice. Maybe we will hang out here instead of Bonta from now on."

Be creative, not restrictive.

P.S.: I am Bontan myself and also I promised myself to stay out of the active part of politics in this game. Still I offer to help out with such ideas or to give a little more creative input if the Brakmar or Sufokia governments in particular are looking for incentives to lure people to their markets.
