We just fought a fire Xelor
posté April 27, 2012, 12:10:18 | #1
We just fought a fire Xelor His turn: Temporal burn, rollback, devotion, temporal burn, he one shots our level 100 Iop. He then uses temporal images.

My turn: I cast a doll seed. This somehow activates all his images and I lose all my ap.

-other people's turns go here, inconsequential-

His turn: Temporal burn, one shots our Osa, rollback, devotion, temporal burn on me (crit), takes my hp to 100. Ends turn with temporal images as well. Keep in mind that we're all high level, yet somehow he has 450 fire damage, 3 range, and 200 ini on his character. Oh, and 9ap.

My turn: Cast doll seed again to make sure this wasn't a bug. All my ap is drained again. I subsequently die, and we lose.

BALANCE.

250 ini feca sets glyphs 200+ fire cra steps on glyphs proceeds to shoot as many explosive arrows as he can in 30 second due to infinite ap exploit full level 100 enemy team doesn't even get to move, balance oh no wait bugs (your case too with seed)

hmm moowolf set i suppose. and temporal images have a chance to remove ap if dealt damage only. oneshot? must be critical too - 450% fire not enough even with 9 ap. or iop was with 800hp?
rollback... - yeah its pure luck - 20% chance

so uve met a xelor in the highest equipment possible (total price about 50000k?) and with the pvp build and i beleive with lots of pvp experience. and u i think were armed etc for pve. so with some luck on his side u've lost. why not? in this game atm nearly any class can kill in one turn one opponent with some luck - too few HP and too strong damage...

Sounds like (very) bad luck. Unfortunately for you. Your disappointment is understandable!

@supic By that logic, Sadida or Osa with the best gear and a bit of luck should easily kill 3 Xelors. Can you imagine that happening?
Open your eyes, some classes are OP, some are UP in this game. Xelor is one of the OP ones, no matter how you put it.

Sorry, you're right, I wasn't clear. The Xelor needed both the initial Temporal burn and the rollback temporal burn to kill our Iop. One-shot wasn't the correct term, but nevertheless he died in the first turn.

lvl 93 iop 1200+ hp. 1turn KO,

Hyu xelor (wadever his element is)

and u wonder why no one can fight against them.

posté April 27, 2012, 14:27:23 | #10
so apart from being very well equipped this xelor is very lucky. rollback is just 20%. and without it he couldnt kill the iop.
9ap*16*4.5 (every1 has 100% fire res, no?) = 648. where is OP in this damage??? for single targed damage dealer its kinda low i must say. even a healer can hit for this damage per turn.

2Krowakot - summoners r different and they are this way in any other game. but as a summoner why dont you get say 250 ini? first turn u summon and run away from xelor then your pet locks xelor so he cant follow you and hit you even with dial...

people who write about OPness just do not do pvp (im the same here) and do not make their builds for pvp. and in any other game a person in pvp gear with some pvp skills easily will kill people in pve gear with no pvp skill

Look, no matter how much ini will you get from set/stats, Xelor can do the same thing and still he will go first, because of +48ini passive. As I said, it's impossible to start before Xelor, if Xelor really wants it.

Also, "just" 20% chance to instantly kill someone? And people were saying, that Cra's brain damage was broken, when it only had like 1% chance lol.

Wait...dude you are using the fire cra Feca combo to kill everyones team first turn. Now someone is exploiting something even better than you op combo and you rage?

...or is this sarcasm?

I would agree to the fact that some of the Xelor's spells need nerf, we Xelors are masters of time, not masters of damage so our ini should be high, but we shouldn't be able to deal so much dmg.

But i would focus more on PVP damage in general, as I've already read on the forums and think myself that the fights are too quick. 1v1 fight ends in 1-2 turns most of the time, so there is no way to use tactic or make everything your character can do. Initiative gives a great advantage.
What I would do is halving PVP damage. Every hit would be 50% of normal dmg - simple and could really work.

I don't think it's that easy. That change could create few new OP chars. Like Enis, who outheal damage done to them or Sadidas who have plenty of time to summon army of dolls.
But I guess better this, than situation which we have now.

Perhaps that's because your characters have infinite AP.

I hope you get banned for abusing that bug, really.

and I thought a Sadida that could one hit a person a turn, and an air cra that could kill the entire party in 2. They shouldent nerf Xelor they should increase HP so you sruvive more than one turn.

maybe double WP at the same time, there are classes who rely heavily on WP, drag a fight for too long means they have no chance of winning.
