Subscription gifts.. Yesturday. i was wandering "how da hell do i get my items i bought" after i`ve purchased "Ninja thing". First of all - i`ve being expecting that at least my stats will change.. for a bit or so, but that was a surprise for me, when i realised that its JUST a VISUAL thing, that automatically overcover helmet..
Alright, today i`ve bought that "Joker" or dont-rmmbr-how-it spell set, and i was shocked. that this shit didnt change a stats a bit. Piwi set was more better then THIS.
Okay, i`ve calmed down, and decided at last subscribe for this WAKFU game.. thank god, i`ve subscribed for a week, just to see what is this "coins" thing, that added with a subscribing. So, after ~20-25 min that i`ve spent serching "where da heck can i spend this coins", my patience ran off.
Damn you, WAKFU! Its not a "service" if i need to crash my brains searching a simple way to spend my "precious benefits" as a subscriber. Damn you!

I can relate to some of your experience, but I was hoping the equipment sets in item shop would mask my actual items, but I think only the insignias do that.
The thing with this game is: Nothing important is explained and everything not really that important is.

Edit: btw you can spend your coins in the big house on the map in the center of the world.

U know there'r some pages like wakfu.wiki or wakfu.elements where U can find info about the game. Like where U can change your coins. So try to use google, it don't bite U. And stop hateing game like this. It's just inappropriate...

actually I'd say the hate on outfits in the cash shop not giving any stats and being useless is completely fair and appropriate.

The rest is just sort of lazy though.

Buying stats would be very lame, but there should be a line that says they are only visual and will not go "on top" of your current items.
