Trade channel range

Trade channel range
So how far does the messages in the trade channel reach?
At first I thought it was nationwide. But it is shorter than that for sure. |

It reaches the same as /l - i.e. About 2 screenwidths across - so it's really just to differentiate color. Upsettingly, this is alos the range of Poltics Public - which means Well Meaning Treasurers can't tell all of Sufo things like, "Oops we nearly ran out of Barley - hold on the Scythes etc".

Wow, and I was sure that Trade was for whole nation. They should make it at least one area then :/

If trade was the whole nation it would be a non stop barrage of 'LFG' from everyone in places you are miles apart from.
What they need is perhaps a nationwide trade channel, and an area-specific LFG channel. |
