I've turned all the candles on myself (server was dead at one point, easy to test with nobody around) and they stay on for long enough for me to go on the forums, find a new theory and turn them all off again manually. I've never ever seen a candle turn itself off. If one player can't do it alone it's because there's some arbitrary, invisible time limit to do it.
Still, if this dungeon does have the cooldown people claim I think it's the final nail in the coffin for my Wakfu subscription. I've hated the direction Ankama has been going in lately; making more and more and more content effectively 'exclusive' to a very small group of level 100 players that know the exact timers and camp the mobs every 3 days. Now we've got an even worse situation with a dungeon that is effectively being locked out from the entire playerbase except a couple of people. Like others have said: what if you can't play at that time? Tough shit. You can't run the dungeon, just like you can't fight black crow or moowolf.
I don't mind cooldowns for PLAYERS, but not for the world. Make the world bosses and dungeon have a 24h/72h cooldown or w/e for individual players in an instanced zone. Don't make it so nobody can do it because someone else did it instead of them.
I sincerely hope this is bad information or a mistranslation but I can honestly believe Ankama would do something that awful and think it's awesome.
Exactly, the past 2 updates are mostly unreachable for a lot of players, including me.
I have yet to fight a Moowolf; see a Black Crow and indeed, get into Monk Dungeon, those are a big chunk of what Ankama promised to deliver to us in the last 2 updates. And might I say before the 13th I had been really active, averaging about 6-8 hours of play time per day, I mean that's gotta be on the higher end of active players, so I can safely assume that I share the same experience with the majority of players,
But I feel change is upon us, I mean they can't be completely oblivious to the fact that they have designed content to be only available to a very small group of players, right?
Oh and also I am really glad I only subscribed for 3 months, which lines up nicely with D3 release

because after getting full Starry set I'm really at a loss for things to do in the game until maybe they release Gobbsage, which I suspect will again be something 'exclusive' to the .... shall we just say 'super-determined' players.
So... don't blame me of not holding my breath.
