Troyle, explanation on monk island?
posté April 11, 2012, 09:47:16 | #1
Troyle, explanation on monk island? I will keep it short, you started something big and there is no explanation at all about items or content. The biggest question how dungeon works or is it even working? Just why there is no official explanation for all these new features...

The dungeon works, it’s just up to you to find out together how to open it.

Would you find it fun and rewarding if we would give you all the answers and walkthroughs directly?

Don't do that, a confirmation that the dungeon is working correctly is good enough.

My only point was that there was no official explanation troyle. At least we know now that its working thanks for that.

well, if you dont need a key for this dungeon, what prevents you camping it, its somehow time limited? (with something like time stamped keys in Dofus)

it is very complex and it is not working always, also the gate is open 120 secounds for everyone,
so you cannot be the only person camping this dungeon

Monks are too easy I expected something hardcore.

Like two times harder than crows!

Placing new content in a game like this, then not allowing players an easy way to access the new content is like shooting yourself in the foot.

Rattexx you ever play dofus?

Some dungeon requires getting like 30 people just to open it. It's ankama's way.

Just you wait for the instant kill bosses you gotta beat to respec... i can smell it.

There's no problem in having a puzzle that requires 20+ players to solve, but seriously, a puzzle without any ingame hint whatsoever, (or ingame feedback) that will only be solved by countless trial and error runs(or pure luck) is just poor and lazy design.
It's also a very cheap way to extend the new content's lifespan. (because honestly, a flat land, 15 candles, new mobs and a dungeon, woohooo)

We havent opened the dung yet, so we can't say if there are some hints or not. Maybe the candles after the gate are the hint, maybe something else.

Even if they're a hint, still there is ten bilion possibilites to use this "hint".
I'm really curious, what is the right sequence and what will be Ankama's logical explanation behind it.
