No wonder the game is dying
posté April 11, 2012, 18:31:43 | #21
FYI, my guild is growing with many new players. My friend interested to play also.

For people who want to leave the game, JUST LEAVE, don`t create a topic with some complaining this and that, because it is pathetic.

For new player who want to play this game, just play, the community is growing.

well, im having fun playing this game, classes need rebalancing in terms of damage and utility.

theyre re-releasing the contents from beta SLOWLY because alot of people tend to rush everything like theyve nothing else to do. ive been playing this game since release and my highest character is only lv44! and im still excited to see new stuffs like monk island which i havent visited yet since im low level, but hey! im getting to it.. just nice and slow. i enjoy the game and not rush it.

i dont know why some people complain about LOTS of stuff whereas the only thing i see to complain at is damage/utility balancing of classes which has not really a huge effect in the game, there are downside to it aswell as advantages like its very easy to complete a set since theyre underpriced by farmers.

Yeah..WHINE, whine more.. it will get you nowhere.

Whine is a term but I'd rather call people complaining "giving feedback" in their own way. If you don't "whine" about things and give feedback to the community, they have no idea what's wrong in the game. For example if you think something is broken in the game and don't express your feeling and vision nothing will most probably be done to correct that matter but if you "whine" about it and other people notice it too and join the discussion, it will conform that there is some kind of a problem with a game (lets say item has bugged stats and you "whine" about it), then it most probably will be noticed by someone who has the power to correct that matter.

=problem solved

Feedback: Providing constructive criticism about things that don't work. That can be anything from insane yellings in all-caps or polite comments.

Whine: Yelling and complaining about random stuff that is completely unnecessary - This varies HEAVILY from person to person.

Example: Iops or Cras complaining about Cras/Iops being too OP.

I find it hillarious to see Iops yell in-game "OMFG, CRAS ARE OP, NERF THEM! THEY CAN SOLO THREE PISTES CAVE AT LEVEL 25!", while one of my Iop friends is doing just that at level 23, currently farming it for exp..

Another example is Cras or Iops complaining about Osamodas Whip ability.

There are plenty. You can't complain about others, when what you have is already better.

Well remember how I said this game might have lost two subscribers when I made this thread?
I bought 1 month of playtime for me and my friend just to support the game, doesn't even matter if I quit tomorrow because the game is worth a donation.

The difference between them is any ranged class can easily beat an Iop in PvP, while none, except maybe Xelors, can beat a Cra, I actually find Iops decently balanced.
Just keep an Iop 4 cells away and he will never hit you, easy as it sounds.

Sure, Iops do high damage, but that's all, no versatility, no support, no manipulation, no range, no brain.

Note that Cras can do the same damage Iops do In close combat from 8 cells away and they can teleport across the map easily.

Back to the Topic, the game isn't dying at all, so just quit going around shouting it, because a game dies when players start telling it's dying.

"Game is dying"-threads are always fun.
In my experience you can see if a game is dying if the activity in the game or in the forums goes down.
Haven't seen any loss in neither.

It's easy to just post your opinion of how you THINK the state of the game is. But if you have no proof to back it up the thread just fails.

PS: Subway PLC = 3£ for a meal menu.
Bag of bread + butter + cheese = 4£, food for a week.
Pack of instant noodles = 11 cents.

I don't know where you live and how you live... even the combined food items you listed aren't enough for a week's ration (massive LOL @ bag of bread + butter + cheese = food for a week), they'd keep you going yes but I don't know anyone who eats that little in a week, maybe the homeless people (and I mean no disrespect to them, I used to work in shelter homes when I was in university). And since you listed prices in sterling, I assume you live in the UK, and I'd like to know where you can get instant noodles for 11 cents (do you mean 'pence'?)

If you think £6 is a lot and still playing this game, get a job.

Tesco Noodles 11 pence.
Add hot water and profit.

True Story.

It's not that I dont have money, its that I want its value. You sound like we should all be getting rid of 6£ like they are 2p coins. You can do a lot with 6£ and that was my point.

Lol. These forums are a wasteland compared to usual forum activity in MMOs. I mean it got better since the launch, but still.

In game activity is the same as I saw since release though. I didn't really noticed any decline there.

Yeah, but keep in mind that in most MMOs there is one forum for all servers, while this forum is just a forum of ONE (less populated from all of them) server. There are few other servers and forums...
So yeah, another reason why this game is NOT dying.
