Please don't judge the game on this issue.

I have played lots of different MMO's in my time and have experienced much worse problems due to a patch than this one, and have stayed subscribed to them because I know the game is worth subbing to.
You and I have both signed up yesterday, but I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon, this minor inconvenience being less than a blot on the memories of this game we will undoubtedly recieve.

The subscribers will probably get their time back or be recompensated anyway, us who are playing for free haven't missed out on anything because of this problem.

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm berating you, I'm just asking you to wait for the fix and then enjoy the game rather than be concerned about minor issues like these and letting them inpact on your experience.

any update as to when this will be fixed? is it fixed allready?

No clue I'm afraid, could be a hour, could be any time this afternoon, could be tonight when the server is perhaps downtimed. :/ they did say:

The main problem is that the issue wasn't ticketed when it appeared. Someone started a new topic here and everybody joined, but nobody told the developers about it lol))

I signed up yesterday and WILL be waiting for the solution. At least now I have time to watch Wakfu animation) It's cool, i like it.

just reinstalled the new client off the website and its working again  

EDIT: CONFIRMED, SOLUTION.
(Thanks to Hyperwhite for bringing this to our attention)
Uninstall Wakfu, Download the latest Client of Wakfu and install from scratch.
The new Client has the .exe + files with it and it works
