Missing exe

Missing exe
I wanted to test this game. I downloaded it from official site and installed. After update it gives me an error: "The WAKFU executable cannot be found in the expected location.". I tried to reinstall but still the same error... Anyone knows how to repair it?

Uninstall the game fully then re-install but in a different location. |

Same here but reinstalling to different location didn't work
 Can't find wakfu.exe from anywhere. |

I am also having this issue. I have tried multiple times, as administrator, with compatibility mode. Everything. Doesn't work.

Go into your Wakfu folder mines at C > Program Files > Wakfu and find Wakfu.exe in there and try running the game through that.
Let me know how it goes, if you do not have Wakfu.exe in that folder then something is blocking the installer from installing the game correctly. Try disabling any firewalls / antivirus programs you have until the download and the installation has finished. |

I can't find Wakfu.exe. I'm sure it's missing. Even search can't find it. I tried also by uninstalling the game, disabling my fire wall and my antivirus real time protection and then reinstalling the game. Still, the wakfu.exe is missing again. Good day.
If this is a fresh install, you will need to download the installer from Wakfu's main site, install it, and then run the UpLauncher.exe application from your Wakfu folder. This will download and patch the game, thereby creating the Wakfu.exe application. As Wakfu is constantly updated, please remember to launch the game through the UpLauncher.exe application, and not directly through the Wakfu.exe application. Cheers! |

Same problem, long time player, borrowed .exe off mate with newest patch still doesnt work. Needed to reinstall just now due to pc crash today. The client is broken please patch it as soon as possible!

Same issue here. Friends who downloaded and installed the game yesterday have it working just fine, apparently. The two things apparently getting downloaded are patch_0.0_1.1.75646_base_MultiPlatform.zip and patch_0.0_1.1.75646_jre_windows_Windows.zip (neither of which contains wakfu.exe, nor does the initial installer include one).

I installed the game on my linux, same problem. I'm almost certain it's the newest patch fault, need hotfix or something...

I'm having the same problem. I've done as you suggested, but to no avail. I did submit a support ticket with more details, but it seems that the patcher is not downloading the executable.
It's also my first time trying to play the game. Could it be something to do with today's patch? |

Indeed it would seem that the download no longer contains wakfu.exe so everyone who downloads the game after the previous content patch can't get to the patching phase because of it, but everyone prior to the patch are fine due to already having wakfu.exe. |

Same problem. Having an executable from some torrent didn't help though, shows a blank window with a frame from the game. I guess my laptop isn't good enough lol?
