Meaningless "Warning" - Anyone else got it ? Hello forum,

Today I got an email from Ankama with the title of "Warning"

Here is the message content:

"Your Ankama account *account name* has just received a warning. Be aware that several warnings can lead to a ban.

Reason : You have just received a warning for modifying the game's files in the intention of cheating.

To date, your account has 1 warning and 0 ban

The Ankama Team."



I would love to contact the support about this issue, but after 10 minutes of struggling through the support site, I could not find a single button to submit a ticket and ask "what is happening to my account"


I want to ask you, did any one of you got a similar email ?
I also want to know what kind of a problem may cause this sort of a message. How can I even modify the game files ?

I got something almost exactly like that last year, never did anything about it, and nothing ever happened to my account. But you should look for a way to look into it, better safe than sorry.

Your best bet is to ask Troyle via his ankabox to investigate it, rather than posting it in general discussion. None of the players here can do anything to help you out with this sort of issue.

Also it might be worth reinstalling the wakfu client just to be sure. If any of the files got corrupted somehow the game might be perceiving it as you modifying the files for the purposes of cheating.

I wanted to check if it's only me or someone else is having similar issues as well.

It may just be a phishing scam but send Troyle a private message and he will look into it for you.

Update:
Troyle suggested me to use the ticket system, and I did so..
Still waiting for my ticket to be answered. Over 2 days passed, when should I expect an answer ?!
