Iron Ores - Kamas or Something Else ?
posté March 16, 2012, 12:16:47 | #1
Iron Ores - Kamas or Something Else ? Another simple question.
I have 5000 iron ores after around 9 hours of non-stop mining,
What could be the best way to use them ?

Turn them into kamas ? (combined with copper) or anything else ?

many tradeskills use them too, check the little hammer icon at the items, it will tell you who has recipes with that item

Better off using it to level professions.

Using Irons for kama is a bad choice unless you're really desperate and in need of a few kamas.

WEll the main reason for me to do the mining is kamas for sure..
I want to make as much kamas as possible from those mines.

In terms of kama-making, what do you think ? Using it for directly minting, or making something else from them (and selling ?) -

Which one is a better option kama-wise

If I'm not getting kamas, I wont be spending time to learn professions... Looks like selling is a pain in the arse in tis game, I see people making heaven bags and standing there hours and hours to sell a few items. Man, that's waste of real money and electricity in real life -__-

If you aren't desperate for Kamas, save it until you get copper.
It's a total of 8 ores for 2 Kamas compared to 10 ores for 1.
The time it takes to mine depends on the number of ores rather than the quality.

I can get copper too, but it's hard to find non-crowdy copper zones.
For iron, I already have a zone where I can mine without being interrupted for 10 hours.

So well, mining is the best way to make kamas now ?

well u wont waste electricity since u can sell while being offline.which is diffrent compared to other games which forces u to be online/afk while selling.

Only convert IRon to Kama if you're desperately in need of a quick 10-15 kama to buy something you see.

Use it to level up other profession instead and you will make lots of kama off high level stuffs.

You seem to be getting quite some things wrong here. As Bluze explained you sell from the bags while you are offline.

Also trading can be very efficient, but you need high levels in your profession to be able to sell stuff worth something. For many professions you will need iron to get there.

The kama you mint from iron is really not worth it. Just push miner to lvl40 and mine copper and manganese if you really want to make your money from mining.
