Suggestions on how to fix subscription errors! DISCLAIMER:

I had no problem with my subscription (Australia). Many players are encountering similar subscription problems (... not just on Remington, it's affecting Nox, Aerafal, Elbor ...) I accidentally came across a post on Nox by TheKryetic (just an ordinary player like you and me). Hoping this might help resolve the subscription problems faced by some players on Remington (I don't wanna be playing alone on 29 Feb, 2012). If it doesn't work, please don't blame me. You will just have to contact Ankama for support and wait patiently.

That would explain why new accounts cannot sign up. They haven't played the game. So any new accounts that got created after Beta ended will not be able to get the pre-subscribe bonus'.

If there's a problem with the IP you could dry and sign in to your account using a proxyserver, or someone you trusts that do not have Wakfu and is not planing on playing it. Ask them if they could sign in to your account and make the payment. My internetbank offers a fake Visa-card, meaning that I can fill that card with precisly the right money to pay for the sub and then the Visa-card is worthless, meaning that to pay through a proxyserver wont be a securityrisk.

Though you should know what you're doing and also ask someone you really trusts, if you deside to use a friends IP.

I couldnt make an account for my wife because I had already made an account and for some reason my IP made it impossible to make a second one. Though I signed up using my phone wich had another IP. So trying what i mentioned earlier might help you solve your problem.


EDIT: This is just something that came to my mind, this is not tested at all. But if you have the chance and there wont be any securityrisk to your account you could always try.

and also, dont blame me if something happens, though the risk is extremely small.

well,shes from sg and theyre having issues, as well as she dont have a cc.
mine works so im helping her and didnt knew about this(that i have to play in her acc ingame to fix it) and since wakfu is down atm i cant seem to do anythin to fix this..
tried makin a new acc just cause i heard that works but well,it doesnt.

Was wondering, how Dofus international server, manage with payment method?

As i never play Dofus before, and why wont they do the same here at Wakfu?

I suppose, we will never know, since Ankama never reply at all....

Game is nice, but management sucks. =_=

I totally agree ... 3 days to finish Advance Subscription and nobody solves anything.
I'm losing faith in Ankama.

Have you tried using proxy?

If the assumptions are correct, the reason for error5 is just sad... hope we'll be able to sub when the game goes online at least. Never encountered with any game before a problem where my money is not good enough for the company =P

I just dont understand, I am an error 5 also, but I have tried to subscribe now on 4 different machines and 2 seperate locations. Surely this is a major problem for them at maybe the best time for them to get subscriptions in.

I played beta on 1 account and didn't like my various account names that I chosen, so I decided to remake a new account at close of beta with names I like.... but regardless of what out of my 5 ankama accounts I try, there is no way to subscribe.

I wonder... is there a paypal address which I could just send the correct amount for with my account information? Wonder if that would work, kinda skipping there whole bugged system out.

When trying to subscribe a friend's account (I had no issues with my own account, but him being in a different country seems to cause issues) I get error=3, and after "going back, confirm, going back, confirm, going back, confirm" a lot of timesit changes to error=1. I've tried from several different ip addresses and still can't seem to make it work.

I really don't see why they would prevent payment based on ip. I mean, they want to get paid, right? If somebody has a credit card and wants to pay with it, don't block them!

Error 5 and we can't login anymore.

To those who have the Error 5 issue, I have discovered that if you play dofus for an hour or two it will fix your problem, it seems to be something to do with the ankama account and not exclusive to wakfu.

sorry about not posting earlier I only discovered today, so hopefully someone will benefit.

I don't get any error just i can't access the payment page because after i login and click on the website for subscribe it will redirect to a page that loop with the benefits of being a subscriber... there's anyway to solve this passage please?

for all player of wakfu. pay me some attention. regarding of the problem that you guys had redirected loop. i think the best asnwer is to clear ALL YOUR COOKIES. because it does really work for me when i clear all my browsing cookies. i hope this might be help you guys.
