Subbing people If it isn't so intrusive into personal financial matters I would like to know how much are people pre subscribing for. 3 months 6 months 1 year. I am considering the 3 months or 1 year model. (1 year for the +25%dmg)

I am subed for 3 months.

3 moths. +50 dodge looks nice for panda, but one year for pioneers emote? serious?

(most people are going to be 1 year or 3 months due to the clever marketing of the subscription, personally i planned to subscribe 1 year because i have already been playing more than 1 year so i know i'm not going to quit but i thought it would cost less)

i doubt many people subscribed 6 months, and subscribing for the pet is just part of the trick

3 months + 1 medium pet (50 initiative(initiative is a delicate stat that is often abused in groups for selfish motives namely "i wanna go furst" thus making un organised initiative ordering detrimental to the group = fail)) (only offensive support types should go first, not iop brains)

6 months + 1 bad pet (50 dodge,(dodge is really bad broken stat))

1 year + 1 good pet (25% damage, nothing much really considering time taken to reach this level)

its a misconception that pets start out with these stats it will take time to raise pets to level 50 they will have usless stats and by the time you have reached a good level the pet will add about 1/6 of what your equipment gives you and translates into just above the equivalent of the clan member bonuses

thats the way they want people to see it but pets do not really add anything to the game, they are not worth the hassle (if like dofus) this will lead to loads of pets being on market and they will be rather cheap in the end because people will realise how they are such a minor addition to the game,

seeing as the gemlin gives 50 hp (1 hp per lvl) its much better than the first two pets, that is Pay to Lose (unless its 1 year pet)

I'm still doubting. I like the game, but there are too many reason not to subscribe.
It's so broken at the moment I don't really want to waste money on it. But the F2P restrictions are so severe...You might as well not play it, since you can't do anything if you don't subscribe. Which means that if I want to keep playing in the hope the broken content gets fixed, I'd have to subscribe now or basically give up forever.

If I find a good community/group/guild to play with after the wipe, I'll surely subscribe for at least half a year. But that hope seems to be overly optimistic.

I bought one year. I was only going to get three months, but let's face it, the one year subscription equates to $1 per week. Not bad for a year's worth of entertainment.

i subbed for 6 months, the pet had no influence on my choice, its just since i used to play dofus and got bored of it, just grinding the same monster over and over every day till i finally lvl up like a week later... yea i know Wakfu is going to be the same but even so, i think it will keep me entertained for about 6 months, after that ill probs stop playing, will most likely find it to tedious

Doofus kept me busy at work for years and this game seems just as good.

just 3 months, first i want to test if i'm really keep playing it or not (hope so) (other thing to the problem college)

Hi.. the bad press about everything is getting me down.. so i decided to start a thread for the people who are planning on subbing (or like me already have). Introduce yourself... your name.. server you play ect.. also you could tell us what you like about this game instead of all the bad points we know it needs work.. but i personally think this game is really good, you compare it to most games out there is stands out as one of the good ones.. and there are ALOT of rubbish mmorpg's out there.. so stop complaining and enjoy the game for what it is.

Anyway I am On the remmington server.. I am from the Uk, and i am looknig for a good guild after launch too ^^
I was in Black-Twilight before the last char reset.. but havnt seen them around.. although havnt seen many people around since the last char wipe..

I will sub soon for 3 months after that I am hoping diablo 3 will come out, so I will think about subing again. I play on remmington server too and I am from serbia.

I was thinking of playing ecaflip cause i like all that randomness. Anyway see you in z game in one week.

Subed for 3 months too. From serbia too. There are lot of subplayers here so obviously they dont care for bad press.

No point listening to the people crying about how terrible the game is. Even the best games have people pointing out flaws. Also, the people that are unhappy with a game are usually the most vocal ones as they wish to air their unhappiness. The people that enjoy it can't be bothered (for the most part) making threads telling how much they enjoy the game. So just because you see a lot of negativity, doesn't necessarily mean the game is terrible or that everybody hates it/is quitting.

I always prefer to make my own judgement on things, so my advice is to ignore all the nay-saying, try the game out for yourself and if you enjoy it, then sub.

Same. Playing Wakfu sinds first closed beta and I have to say that the game improved ALOT. Of course there is still alot of things to do, but Im already in love with Wakfu and Im gonna sub for 3 months and play after release like crazy
