Motives for stop play Wakfu Hello,
I not know if i'am the first, but there is some people losing the fun for play Wakfu. The same old class.
The same old spells, the same old characters and hard to kill mobs. No, i'am not saying i'am weak, i'am strong, but really, its hard to level up and if you try to lvl up solo, you not will win XP. For drop, you need to know the secret. For drop straw just hit away (cra mode) and gobbal helmet, you will need so much luck. I try help people giving my sets. I go to the gobbals in brakmar and try to give gobb/tofu itens for people, but then says nothing. So... and i was know, wakfu is a MMORPG and in RPG's you need to co-op like gears 3 with people, do quests, talks to people for win quests. And there is no quests, you can't sell you itens for NPC's and Ankama is doing pets. There is more important thing for do. Solve bugs, lag and other things. And stop these bots saying to you buy things on the sites. So and there is so much motives, than i can't put just in one topic.
Observation: I don't know if there is another topic saying that, but i do one. And sorry for bad english ^^''

its so funny the way they throw Pets on top of all these problems, they released pets before they released the masquerader?

I think they did pets to Attract Subscription and players.

I suggest you people to stop whining until the game is ready. The petting system was missing and now it is going to be implemented. It's definitely a good update and possibly one of the unknown features they are hiding or limiting the beta testers from enjoying. I still believe we'll have more than we have tested on official version, or at least hope so. If I were a game designer, I'd let people test the basic features which main bug fixes would lead fixes to features that haven't been tested, otherwise people would not have any motivation to pay for the game that they've played for months freely.

Speaking Truth.
i was just thinking about it before i read your comment ... cause 4 years it took and they possibly can not have done base features . they must have hidden things.

Unfortunately it's meaningless to get a pet, if the core of the game is broken. It's a carrot dangling over a cesspit. And as an attempted "distraction" somewhat insulting.

I would question the idea that this was "missing". It's not as if pets are some vital piece of MMO game-design. Helicopters are also "missing", I don't think we need them added to the game.

If you have made a game, and the only way you think you can keep people interested in it is to hide things from them... not just parts of the world, or extra bits of content, but the basic guts of it... you're in trouble.

I can see Ankama thinking that though. "Server unlocks" like the drago-express... which unlock once and then nobody has to think about it ever again are very short-term thinking.

At this point in time, there's no need to play the game if you don't enjoy it, and you certainly don't need to contemplate paying for a subscription. When it reaches release, then you can play again, and see if you'd really be happy paying for it.

@GoldfishGod

They've shown the basic features which aren't very satisfying. What I meant is that they could be hiding are new areas, equipment and monsters. Possibly features such as this pet system, pets are a characteristic of most fantasy MMOs and a game like Wakfu without them wouldn't just be the same (on my point of view of course).

I agree with the locked areas, it's quite pointless after they're opened. It's just like the mines that once cleaned out there will be no more work left to do, unless if they add random earthquakes caused by the Ogrest Chaos that could drop more stone blocks in the map.

I'm not actually playing the game because I do not enjoy it due to the bugs and overpowered classes. However, I'm expecting the game to be better in the release date, if it does not change I will just not play it.

This update is like a fresh cherry on top of a rotten cake. Who cares about the cherry if we can't enjoy the cake?

Do you belive they are hidning new are'a while sufokia and brakmar deffinetly lack some maps? Bonta should have 1 more map too, so that all nations have the same number of maps at beggining. They barerly managed to add new ares so that those 2 nations(sufokia and brakmar) won't be empty but if they wont add mroe dungeons and maps before release then i doubt anyone will bother to be something else then amakna or bonta. And later on if they will even add new area's, there will be still noone who will care much on changing nations. Every islands and new territiories will belong to bonta or amakna. Sufokia and brakmar will lack the number of people to even create good guilds!

New equipements...? Yes indeed we need those. Especially good water set like tree-set used to be. But seeing new items added by Ankama.... they add a lot of low level items that wont be worth more then 1 kama. What's the point?

Finally new monsters - no wonder we are sick of seeing gobbals everywhere. I know its nice monster and all... but we have them in village, wild praire, gobbal dungeon, gobbal rush, celestial dungeon and 1 additonal map near first market in every nation! And there is no much choice for training, you just have to kill either monster of group A or B to level up. They shoudl add group C and E at least! More areas to train in an dmore monsters in actuall zone's! Thats what we need already to not get bored fast.

The shark area is definitely part of Sufokia. The hidden areas homologous to Sadida Kingdom and Kelba haven't been added, nor the specific dungeons. If you look at the second Dev video, there's a time they show different monsters such as cracklers. And from what I heard ages ago, the crackler area is going to be owned by Brakmar. Possibly replacing the shark area.

Anyways, let's just wait and see. No point playing the beta now unless you want to waste your time.

Too many bugs will just make people stop playing it, it's always good to see new stuffs, but when new things become old, people will be frustrated if the same problems have not changed. And some will just leave because of the bad experience.

Brakmars Gnashville is pretty much the best place in Brakmar right now, without it, I wouldn't even of gone past level 40.
