With free open beta it's already hard to find people for parties already -.-
They really need to cut the nations down to 2 or something after going live..

if you already have a dofus subscription does it apply to wakfu as well or are they separate subscriptions?

posté January 29, 2012, 10:24:01 | #63
Separately. They are two separate products, like an apple and a pear. You can't have a two for one deal.

I chuckled a little when a saw it was the final day of the month, at least they are keeping to their word and releasing it on February, let's just hope its in good shape when they release it.

Thats true, ppl are all spread out, and only amakna and bonta have the most people in it.

Make 2 of the nation a unknown region to explore, and include rare boss or monster spawn there only.

Unknown region should have special monster or hoodlum that could sneak attack ppl.

Dangerous unknown region with certain danger lurking around, would be fun.

First was Amakna, then Bonta, Brakmar and Sufokia at the end, and thats how the population is spreaded. Most of the people play on Bonta and Amakna because that was the first nations in the game, after some time Brakmar and Sufokia will have more people as well.

yeah and i don't think they are already complete, cause if you check they have less areas and as i remember they will add some dung as well

Even Amakna is still incomplete. The swords crossing bridge has a part without end on the top, same for brakmar, but in swords crossing. Don't know about sufokia and bonta.

what's with the "Gold" version?,...
"Gold" means "release", basically the version they consider ready for sale. It's a bit like "alpha", and "beta" stages of game development.
Gold, I just call it Gamma, makes more sence logically(so what silver=beta?)

You guys think that they will add more areas in Sufokia and Brakmar?

To be honest, the only country that feels incomplete for me is Sufokia. Especially the bridges feels incomplete... In other nations you can see some decorations in the bridges, some houses, while in Sufokia there are just some barrels, boxes and "houses" made of boxes. But also fields and forests feels kind of empty...
I really hope they will change it, cos I want to play in Sufokia

Not quite, Gold generally refers to a specific version (i.e. if you update the game with a patch etc, it is no longer the gold version), while alpha and beta testing are a period of time (i.e. it covers multiple patches and updates) during development.

The term is basically taken from the music industry. Obviously when dealing with MMOs, it's hard to say the game is ever out of testing/development. And not everything in pre-production is part of either alpha or beta testing.

they said they aren't finished with it , yes they will add to areas.

i think the problem is they wont make those areas as good as amakna and bonta, because amakna was the first nation it has so much detail, Bonta was second so they learned from all their mistakes and this is by far the best nation with all the dungeons, when they got to brak they gave up like half way through and made sufokia without even adding to brakmar. they should have refined brakmar to the same quality as bonta and amakna before adding sufokia. but now these areas seem like they are bored of making areas and are just getting it over with. i hope they actually add dungeons that are unique to brak and sufokia and stuff that makes it attractive as a nation like amakna and bonta

What about subs? When I subscribe to dofus it appears wakfu is also a subscribed account... this implies I can play 2 games for 5 euros? Or they are separate?
