02/29/2012: Official WAKFU release date
February 29th doesn’t come by every year, so we’ve decided to celebrate in style! An extraordinary day calls for an extraordinary release… Timing is important after all, so let’s get it right! All of us at Ankama are proud to announce that the WAKFU MMORPG will officially be released on Wednesday, 29th February 2012!
Do you know how long we’ve had to wait for a leap year to finally come around?! |

Real.
Wakfu is still full of bugs and imbalanced designs. Are you French guys really try to go this anyway? lol |

Good news we finally know the release date
Bad news the game isn't ready yet. Let's see what Ankama can change in 1 month what they've been trying to do since the beta started. I still have hope for this game, somehow I know the devs have something we don't know that will show up at the release date. That's just a way of covering my fear of Wakfu failing though I'm happy it's gonna be a P2P-gold style game. |

I really do hope they do another patch before that, because there are still lots of bugs that need to be fixed asap. Also I do hope they re-implement the Ecaflip class until the realease to avoid another class screwed up.

I hope people would soon stop with the:
"it's imbalanced" , "so buggy" , "it's so low exp i cant play" , "i think the game is gonna fail" and so on.... Look at all other games, they were just as buggy and just as imbalanced before gold-state. -Anyhow, i think they done a great job, working so hard for the game! - I'm happy to be able to play this game and i will happily pay and contribute to an awesome community. Hope to see you guys that like the game and most of it's development at 29. |

what's with the "Gold" version?,... "Gold" means "release", basically the version they consider ready for sale. It's a bit like "alpha", and "beta" stages of game development.
Look at all other games, they were just as buggy and just as imbalanced before gold-state. And those games receive criticism for that too. This post has been edited by GoldfishGod - January 27, 2012, 19:31:55. |

This game is great. It remembers me about Final Fantasy Tatics. I'm very addicted to it right now. But i have to admit, there are many bugs and two hidden classes to develop or fix until the release date. But I trust in Ankama and Square.

Well I'm excited. The game may have its problems but the unique experience is worth it and I believe that Ankama and Square will do just fine.
