Button engage I like how I can press 1, then click to attack in battle as it saves time.

Is there a I can click on a creature then when the option to attack or harvest, I press a button (or assign the attack trigger and Harvest trigger to a key) and then engage. so I use both my keybord hand and a mouse to maximise time.

No, there isn't, and the place to ask for one is the Suggestions section, not here.
As a possible alternative, there is an "activate things with left-click" function in the game menu. I've never tried it, but it might be just what you want.

It's not. The left-click thing isn't even working well, it only works on targets you can't move onto, such as ore veins and trees. You can't harvest crops or herbs because you just keep walking onto things instead of getting the menu up.
