Well if those so called popular english speaking players refers to americans, yes they are at nox now. If you dont live in america, yes you are stuck on remmington.

Remington is not English language server, its international does not matter if they put my countries flag on it its still international :\ americans and canadians are the lucky ones?
(do they get random lanuages on their server too?)

(i knew that Nox is amreican / canadian server i just wanted to know if most the cool people were there and they seem to be)

then again i have met quite a lot of social people on remmington

Sadly majority of good players and English speaking ones are Americans and some of my old freinds i hope they make a English server like Shika on final release that does not IP block

In my opinion they should create another world, one that only people from the U.K can play, which will hopefully lead to a just english community, or english based.
So far while i've been playing i havn't met 1 english player, well atleast one that has spoken. Which means playing is a real pain because i can only speak english which means though this world is english based (remington) i cannot speak to others.

Or maybe make nox U.K and US ect.

U gotta find an active guild

at the moment there are less english speaking players because this is the stage where there will be a wipe in feburary, not to offend anyone but most players who are playing now are the players who are not willing to pay (low average income countries) these people usually don't speak perfect English

(most english speaking countries have higher income families and are willing to pay, these players are waiting for the full release like me)

... not really the people that are playing right now are the old or really new players that are trying to discover the game while is free, the old just because they like the game even full of lag and with all the dumb nerfs of wakfu (yeah wakfu doesn't have same free spirit of v0.1 and v0.2)

well 90% of people i asked who are playing now said that they are just playing now because its free
and have no intention to play when its p2p (due to money problems) there are some players who are genuinley testing but they are experienced players and don't hang around the starter areas

I do not know the situation of nox (america / canada is mostly high income families) remington is the only international server where new players and foreign speaking ones go

im not offending anyone, i study economics so i got an idea of how these economy works
p2p games attract people who are willing to pay (people with more money) in feburary
f2p games attract people who are not willing to pay (poorer people ) wakfu is currently

not every foreign person is poor,

-Mild Rant Incoming-

Not that it's my business or anything but I think you are being really biased in your opinions. But opinions are just that, opinions. Here's mine :

-There are quite a few players like me and micro who have stuck around since... what...? 2008? Testing, playing on a server that couldnt hold itself without crashing every 5-10 minutes. I guess that's the lowest demographic nowadays but it shouldn't be frowned upon;

-There are the ones who jumped on the F2P open beta wagon and yes, a lot of them don't know much about the english language but like I said many times before, I like learning new cultures and/or their languages (I learned spanish and a bit of german through the old world of Remington!). They probably weren't planning on paying but they might, now that they grasped this new world;

-Old Dofus players who got tired of it or still play and are looking for something with a different layout, new lore (you know you like it) or new people to meet (see my second point);

-Those without the ability to pay 5€ per month to play and are trying to get the Dofus/Released Wakfu experience in a nutshell;

-People who are just passing by, may like, may dislike it, heard about this on a magazine (those still exist? ), TV (mostly airs on French TV, a guy can dream), gaming website (hmmhmm) or through friends. These people may enjoy it soo much that they may even subscribe for life .

Anyway, those are the "types" of people I met. I don't really think it's bad that we get to play on an international server. Hell, I didn't like Dofus when they started stacking people because of their language/country (I rather dislike playing on a portuguese/brazilian-only server). The way I see it, Wakfu (this works for most MMORPGS) is a must-find-a-guild-fast-game if you want too fully enjoy it.

P.S.: The americans are probably some of the least experienced players in Wakfu. Face it, they (most of them) got here years after this whole thing started (most came when Ankama sealed the deal with Square), this does not mean that there aren't experienced american/canadian/alien players.

-Rant Over (Sorry if I went overboard D: )-

I wonder if this is true or not. I mean the likely hood of someone choosing a Nation solely because of the language (Since it isn't confirmed and all) seems quite unlikely, but upon changing from Bonta to Sufokia I'm surprised at how true it is lol.
Back in Bonta it was hard to find English speakers, even the Governor(s) weren't.
Now in Sufokia I think I've only seen one foreign person and the current Governor has decent English.

This is exactly what I was hoping would happen, where each nation would be claimed by a different language group. I am a fan of PvP, and it excites me to ponder the implications this would have for the game's politics. There would be real tension between the different nations because players don't like having to play with others that don't speak their language. There is already anger between the different language-based communities as it is, but think about if players had somewhere they could direct that emotion? Warfare would become more than just PvP for PvP's sake, it would be about the language groups vying for dominance of the server.

Other political exchanges between nations (such as peace or trade agreements) would also be hindered by communication barriers, just like in the real world. Leaders of each region will need to make a significant effort to foster cooperation with their neighbours, and effective communication (such as through the help of their nation's multilingual players) will play a significant part in making it happen.

For the first time since Nox closed I am actually excited about playing on a multilanguage server like Remington. I sincerely hope that this trend continues, even if it means players have less freedom when it comes to choosing their nation.

Brakmar is a mess, too few to count (probably polish majority)

Sadly, this has already begun to happen. There is real tension between Sufokia and Bonta, and people seem to be blaming it on nationality instead of unfriendly players. Separating the in-game nations into real world nationalities only brings out people's hatred for different communities and it is a place where racists will thrive. I have never played a game where there was so much hatred against other languages as in Wakfu. This situation scares me.
