Lots of changes in patch 0.311!

Lots of changes in patch 0.311! The 4th of January 2012, the patch 0.311 will be deployed in WAKFU. While you wait for the announcement of the complete list of the updates and content, discover now the main changes planned for this update !





The main additions of contents of the patch 0.311 will be:

  • The Sram Class, its gameplay is detailed on the devblog.
  • The last territories of Brakmar, Sidimote Moor and Macheville
  • The last territories of Sufokia, Incarnated Jungle and Stimulating Shore
  • Improvements for Astrub
  • A tool for tracking achievements
In order to improve the game experience, other changes will take place:

  • A deletion of all characters will be made, in order to test on equal grounds all the changes on Astrub, the new curve of progression, the economy and all the changes of balancing. We acknowledge that this is saddenning for most of you, but this is a mandatory step to be done with such radical changes coming to the game, we need to test these changes in a pure environment before the game releases and the wipe is the only way to achieve such conditions. But this also means we're on the last steps to the final version of the game ! The Ankama team is relying on your constructive feedback, don't hesitate to give your opinion about the new content on the WAKFU-forums!
  • For a future overhaul, the Ecaflip class will be temporarily unavailable, but it will be back very soon...
  • The Rogue class will also be unavailable in order to have a complete overhaul. The Ankama team will focus its energy on balancing all the 12 main classes. The new version of the Rogue and the Masqueraiders will be available shortly after the final game release scheduled for Feburary 2012.
These are just a part of the coming changes, however ! There is a lot more content that will be added, and the complete detailed changelog will be available very soon !

So there will be wipe at 4th January? I wonder if we can find anyone that plays next week...

I can understand complete overhaul on Rogue, but what was wrong with Ecaflip? I'll definetly not argue if Rogues comes back better though, I like their style.

Really? I don't play ecas myself, and I'm not really playing much these days, but everyone keeps complaining that they are bad, and that earth specially, is very unbalanced and is not really "good damage or bad damage" but "normal damage or bad damage", that their "luck" is not really well worked. Well, I can't confirm, but its not just one person saying this.

And at least me, I will play more this week than I have been doing lately, Kwismas event won't happen again till next year! =)

Yes, there will be another wipe at the very end of the beta. The wipe coming in this patch is just to test the new settings to be sure that everything is good for the launch.

It looks ok. The only thing that really saddened me is that I won't be able to play Rogues in the official release

if you realy wanna make this game good Change the whole Dev Members.... we didnt see anything ingame but bugs.... i Dont know if ther slacking or they do it Beacus its Beta but they realy did bad work some bugs are stell on from Updates and havnt been fixed.

I hope that more monsters can be captured by Osamodas and improve the system to summon more monsters.

I liked when we could grow up each monster, mostly Meow's Family hehehehe

Wipe on Jan 4th? thats like 10days left.
Why not make it sooner? So we can play for another week more with new patch till Feb wipe.

That wipe has a good point though all people starts at 1 lvl, the low lvls are going to be happy i think. Most high lvled people going to rage its sad but its new page actually. I always believe that new must be good. I have a 28 lvl sacrier im gonna lose it but i dont feel any sad because i want to be a sram, not the best one but i try to good at it. On the other hand i see most people are waiting for sram and im happy for them and im one of them. I m sad about new Kwismas items i think we are going to wait for 1 more year to get Kwismas..
Anyways we must take care of our new characters.

why dont u update it now?do u realy think that we r interested on playing if our chars r going to be deleted anyway? dont u have someone able to think on your team?

wasted 10 days id say ankama, too bad for every1
