What am i suppose to do in Wakfu? Hi everyone ,

Im new to Dofus and Wakfu , but im not sure which one would be better for me to play as Dofus requires a subscription in order to play it to the fullest . I've played Wakfu for about half an hour and i have been walking around aimlessly , killing monsters in my clan hometown. Can anyone please explain what am i suppose to do in Wakfu , is there any direction i should head or things i should take note of? And i have also noticed the low population in the game , is it due to me being a low level or the general population is low?

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, Wakfu will also require a subscription, but only when the game is released. That will be in late February 2012, according to the latest plans.

For a new player I suggest you spend your time either exploring the maps, the dungeons or different classes (by making new characters). You can also try to reach a high level profession.

You can also press L to find the list of achievements. They're not quests as in most games, but they do provide players with many goals to play towards and a sense of achievement when you get there. Not all achievements are visible right away, you have to unlock some of them by finishing others first (like, after killing 5 of each gobball type you will get a quest to kill 10, and once you've killed 100 of each you will get a cool item).

There are four different nations and the population in each nation will be different from the others. Amakna and Bonta have the most players, while Brakmar and Sufokia have less (because they haven't been available for as long). It can also depend on which time of day you're playing. In my guild it seems most people are online on Saturdays.

Kill sheeps and stuff. No, seriously, in this game you are free to do whatever you want, you can even manipulate the environment, become a governor and run dungeons with friends!

Do a profession, do achievements, do levels, try to become influent in politics, try to find people for dungeons. And when you reach level 80, war
btw after level 60 theres no much you can do alone

Go hunt. Kill gobs.

Resumed: kill things or plant stuff. Maybe visit a dungeon and get killed.
That's what you will be doing for day one into infinity. No, there are no goals nor any remarkable progression or change from start to end, what you get in the first 30 minutes is what you will be doing for the next 100 hours.
