Ankama, I want to tell you this.

Now, when this game's FREE:
- Some classes're useless because of your bad nerf, eg: Eni.
- Server has less people than before, when I joined this game (about 4, 5 months ago), this game's fun, but now every people that I know already quit.
- Nothing to do in this game except training, no guild war, etc... boring.

And in the situation like this, you gonna make Wakfu official in February 2012 and P2P, and WIPE (del all characters, items)?
How many people gonna pay for that?

You should focus on the quality of this game first.

You should keep in mind that they might have a F2P areas like in Dofus and P2P areas too. We can't say what will Ankama do till we see the final game.


- I don't see many people leaving, atleast the people I know.
- This is a beta and ALL characters and items must be wiped for the official game.

A complete wipe is for sure. People abusing current bugs and glitches in order to lvl faster/obtain items faster/all them skill resets . . . do you really think we will get away with that? Wipe fo'sho'
The trailer is meh... like every other mmo i sopose. (Awesum trailer / disappointment on the actual gameplay)
Although manymany mmo's turn into f2p cashshop game, I doubt the same thing will happen to wakfu. Tons of ppl pay for dofus n the same thing will occur on wakfu also. I mean... I'll pay for the game. This system works just fine for them... apparently.
As in for the Feb release... kinda makes me giggle.

There is no 'useless' class; it's just a matter of adjusting with the changes and getting on with it. Class balancing (*coughs* nerfs *coughs*) is going to continue throughout the beta and then maybe even when the game goes live (official).

Sure, people may have stopped playing for various reasons. Boredom could be one of them. They have done what can be done in game already, and are waiting for further updates or the official release. Or they don't see why they should put so much effort into developing their characters if they are just going to be wiped later on.

Guild wars might be implemented further on down the track. We'll just have to wait and see

The game is far from finished and I'm sure they have a lot of content and surprises in store. If they can't get it all done for release in Feb 2012, who says they can't delay it? Not like they haven't done that before

On topic: Great trailer. Makes me want to watch the Wakfu anime series now

Does it represent the game as it is right now? Don't think so *hopes that will change later*.

It's too soon for it to be released by then. Probably the last class would be released IN Feb and there will still be bugs for that class.

I guess that is a usual prospect in the industry, but for me Ankama has gone beyond it, seriously, they actually showed things on the trailer that aren't true to the game at all. At least for now. For example the male Pandawa. If male pandawas were big(fat) badass drunken bearded master even I would play with them, but how they actually are in the game? Skinny big headed happy faces drunken teddy bears who look like can barely stand one beer. The disparity here is just too damn big, is not just a simple exageration.

And this is just one thing, I could name at least three more.

Also, anyone else noticed that the image on the announcement post is messed up? The bow's string is stretching to the back of the Cra, when the hand stretching the string is in front of him... what the hell...

Well Ankama promissed to release in feb 2012 let's pray for that without any sarcastic comments that doesn't help.
The game will be really p2p like Dofus and will be a wipe for sure, I think a lot of players will still play Wakfu c'mon guys if we aren't fans of Ankama Games we won't be playing for so many time and Wakfu is unique like Dofus or Arena. Everybody complain about it but Ankama rules

this is very exiting as the game has allot of potential it could be even better than dofus

I really don't see how a player-driven economy can coexist with a f2p system. So p2p 5 bucks per month is a good middle ground.

They are still working on it, but most probably will be more or less like Dofus, a free area to test the game, then the rest is premium...
