Storage tax
- storage tax = trade tax;
- storage tax taken immediately.
Awesome!

Goddamn, I didn't notice! I thought that storage tax was gone completely with the latest patch - it didn't work before, anyway, you never had to pay the money that was displayed.

Is this after the new hotfix or was it the case before? It would explain why I didn't have that much money in my pockets, I always shift around stuff in my display windows. This new mechanic is so easily exploitable that it doesn't matter, anyway...

Still on... so storing stuff just become a hiding game. (yes 0 kama as a price means 0 tax.)

Why U do this to me ankama.

Shelves were never intended as "storage"... they're supposed to be shop-shelves.

The real problem is Ankama haven't implemented any actual form of storage beyond the inventory you carry, like a bank, so people started using shelves for that instead.

I think the problem was that they suddenly implemented the tax, without adequate notice like in Zaaps and in market. You simply ran out of kamas and then suddenly you're broke. To make the game playable, its obvious that a form of storage has to exist, legit or makeshift.

The inherent problem is with the Haven bag itself, the uses are fairly limited to farming AND items sale and storage.

Craft gems are gathering dust, decor gems offer no actual gameplay features (plus the lack of decent items to place in them) and the market gem stuff.

I am unable to adequately express my loathing for this in words that would not get me banned.

This is a reprehensible change, and bad design in the extreme.

Tax should only be deducted on SALE.

It's no joke. Either Ankama didn't think the implications of the patch would be too bad, or they just don't care. Both are bad, as this is beta and our opinions should be shaping the way the game is going to be made.

In case you all didn't notice, you now can list your items directly on the sale board to sell them while being online and doing other activities.

There's no need to put a price on your items stored inside your haven bag, there's no need to log out from inside your bag for any reason either.

Dont worry, only really small portion of players reads forums anyway, this was a reward for them for being part of community.
Plus, there is still board tax, which, frankly charging you for putting items on sale (and not upon sale) is a ripoff lol

this was already in game you just can't put prices to high or you will pay the extra taxes, and yeah it's stupid... :/

That is true. I am using my haven bag for storage only, hence all my items in there are priced '0' Kama. And it means no tax

You want to be careful with having items for 0 kamas in your bag - unless you have them in separate merchant gem which has permission for nobody, if you accidentally enter your haven bag, you will allow any other players to get your equipment for free.
