Chance branch Xelors destroyed due to longer PVP

Chance branch Xelors destroyed due to longer PVP Apparently Ankama are making PvP last longer hoping Wakfu can sustain it's ultimate purpose: strategy game. HP is 3x during PvP fights.

2 Main reasons:
- Hyperaction will be a problem.
- Xelors are huge WP eaters.

Think about it, the water branch Xelors cannot withstand long battles without sacrificing valuable AP for air spells.

Meaning: The branch alone is no longer effective and air/water branch seems to be the only choice for PvPers...

Well, the air/water build plays the role in reducing AP, damage dealing and reducing the effect of hyperaction. This build is currently slightly less effective then the 2 branches alone; but fear not, according to ankama, they will be releasing 2 build sets soon and one day will increase the cap level to 200! Currently it is very difficult to build a 2 branch build without penetrating most spells in order to cast the spells from both branches since it gets more difficult to level these spells at higher level thus + branch lvl equipment play a major role in the high levels.

So what do you guys think? ._.

I know what you mean about the WP... after all, even in short deal, players can just smash your dial and cripple you that way- over a long duel, this would leave you vulnerable very quickly.
Second thing is the change to Clock- making it cost MP. This makes the spell almost unuseable (move one dial cell + aging + clock= no MP), unless you've got an extra MP, which is fine for higher lvl players, not so much for lower levels, who cannot now level the spell!.

Also, every time I use a water spell, the target becomes more resistant to AP loss, which makes things hard to begin with...

Xelors have been pretty much crippled by these changes... ;_;

Yeah I agree, water xelors have been crippled after these changes but its important to remember that BEFORE these changes water xelors were extremely op.

I think the only way to save water xelors is to give us more options for reducing the enemies hyperaction state, yes we have devotion but its not enough when you steal 4/5 ap a turn.

During 1 vs 1 pvp my xelor is pretty much useless. Fortunately my xelor's build is centered around xelors hourglass so I can still steal ap for the first 3/4 turns and give about a 6 ap-8 ap buff to my team and as for mobs again the same thing applies in short fights my xelor is an absolute beast, stealing the mobs ap and buffing my team but when it comes to things like UB where they have a surreal resistance and the fights drag on forever my xelor usually ends up being useless.

I've been a Water Xelor since day 1 (now water/Air) and I don't feel nerfed at all. You all peoples are just brainwashed by those short pvp fights of the past.

Wakfu Points:
Sure, one dial costs 2 WP, but we also have a chance to get 1 WP back once it falls. Just don't cast Devotion every turn. Also while people blast their AP on your Dial you can fire at them while taking less/no hits.

Long combat and Hyperaction:
Just rotate your spells like this:
1st round (tick): Drain AP (I sometimes use this round to summon two filler Sinistros)
2nd round (tack): Drain AP
3rd round (tick): Remove hyperaction with Temporal Distortion
4th round+ : Hourglass on tack turns, Temporal Distortion on ticks (if needed)
You could also use Xelor's Punishment if in range to reduce even more Hyperaction and deal massive Damage at the same time. There's lots of equipment with both water and air damage.
You also have a Summon that doesn't eat WP. Use it! Sinistro has great range and with +1 mechanic you can call two to annoy your opponents while you chill at the other end of your battlestation! Imagine how it would be with even more +mechanic.. (with 8 AP and Rollback you can theoretically set up 3 Sinistros per turn. If set up on adjacent hour cells they can even form a wall.)

And last but not least: Remember your enemies also struggle with their resources due to the longer battles. Use that knowledge to outlast them. The longer PvP battle duration is a nerf to everyone, because everyone has to watch his resources.

If you ask me the main problem here is that some Water Xelors just don't notice the utility of our Air tree. The Air tree solves all your problems.
