Xelor's Hourglass's AP steal, How does it works exactly?

Xelor's Hourglass's AP steal I looked for infos in the forum, but there's nothing useful clarifying this point, so i'd like to use this post to answer my (and probably another player's) doubts about this skill.

There's a lot of differences between the Wiki's description of how this skill works, but based on it own text there should be a (increased by lvl) chance of, by using Xelor's Hourglass, you remove an enemy Ap point, and, that occurring, this removed AP would DEFINITELY go to a member of the xelor's group.

A) When i'm soloing it don't seem to give any AP after a successful AP-Steal, so should be understood that it NEVER gives AP to the Xelor Itself, only to its team members, and, in the lack of allies, the AP gift is wasted? Cuz thats how its being to me so far.

B )In the beta there was a bug with the distribution of the AP in the party, as the skill would select one member and always give the AP to that, in all uses of the skill during all battles. How is the AP-Gift distribution working as for now?

A ) Yes, Water Xelor, which I am playing aswell, is kind of made for party play. You won't get that AP yourself.

B ) It is fixed I guess. The AP is distributed randomly, which is not really that good. Sometimes you would prefer to give +4AP to one proper DPS, not +1AP to 4 different people.

Thank you for the reply, another question concerning the spell:

If an use of "Hourglass" activate the AP steal and, with that, the "Time Thief" passive, will the 2 functions work together or only one AP is given?
