Actually, Ankama solved the issue while you were erasing your trash cans. What you did probably had nothing to do with Wakfu working again

Well, at least, I thought I was useful for a while ^^

I have the same problem with the MacOS version. It gets stuck at about 54%. Downloading a completely new client from the Wakfu Homepage gets the same result when it reaches the update for the newest version.

See Jorinde, I was having the same problem, i got it fixed and l thought in open an Mac thread, but I will reply your post only, for now.

I deleted the app, restarted, nothing seemed to work. Then I thought it throughly: "If my installation is corrupt even after reinstalling, it must be a 'hidden' file."

That's what worked for me: Put the wakfu app in the garbage normally, "command + delete", and when emptying your garbage can, instead of pressing just "empty garbage", go at the top bar in finder and search for something like "safely empty trash can" (mine's in portuguese, but it should be something like that). That will take a while, there's a lot of files to erase, more than 700...but after you install the downloader again...

IT FRIGGIN WORKS.

Hope it helped, good luck for ya!

I have a hard time with my Wakfu relationship.
I started playing Dofus a while ago, but never actually PLAYED it because I live in Brazil and paying in dollars almost doubles the costs...When a company started distributing Dofus in Brazil i was really busy with university admission tests, so I did not bother to try anyway.

Then I heard of Wakfu. Damn I wished this game. I was in the first beta, and it was nice. But really, things are getting complicated now... It really takes hours to level in normal mobs of monsters (those who aren't larvas or any auto-respawn ones) because they are all DEAD. The fact of becoming a criminal and gaining stasis points doesn't stop people from killing monsters, only makes "nice guys" pissed of planting sheep everywhere. The diseases...i will not complain. Although the cure is not easy, they don't give some status that makes the game impossible of playing...and you can always level up professions in the meantime.

Anyway, the game is taking much time to play, which isn't good even for Ankama because, in my opinion, people who would pay to play don't have much time, since they work. At least here where I live it is unusual to pay monthly for a game or for in-game items.

AND PLEASE, PATCH UP SOUNDS. I can't convince anyone that this is a good game when it has the same "glorious sounds" as tibia.

Ok, the sound was really my bad, sorry.

But is the sinistro's interference common or I'm just unlucky?

Sinistro's bug? I dunno if this is a general problem or just mine, but every time i summon a sinistro the AI freezes...It's a won battle but it take AGES.

Also no sound in the game, is it just me?

Well, such a nice girl should probally want a gorgeous and rare dofus-era wabbit wine.

Not that I have one. And you're a sram, so let's see... Mimilk, gobb milk, beer, some pandawas' infusions and... some eniripisa special powder *roll eyes suspiciously*
