After the new update
Well, every current class except Sacri and Sadi (poor classes) have new improvement (or weakness). Welcome everyone, new or old, for choosing a cra (Hmm, this is a bit formal). Since this update does not come with a wipe, I got tons of points now and I do not know how to spend it, any ideas? And any comment for the new update?

I hope the beacon bug exp has been fixed.

Hmm, simply I play the game and kill some hoodlums, a bit disappoint to see that the Cra is a bit dumb in group fight.
The update is nice, the support ability really improved a lot. For my example, being an air cra, I max out Range, powerful shooting, surprising arrow, unbeacon and the one add critical chance. So if I use the plaguing arrow, I got 70% damage bonus which is 30% from powerful and 40% from surprising, with my own bonus, got over 300 % damage, Oh I forgot to count the bonus from Unbeacon and critical one. The equipment is not as good as others but still it gives some nice ability, now the arachnee are more supportive set, adding 1 mechanism with some cost of life is ok, But It will be a pain for level 40~50 air cra because there is no air set now. Earth doesn't have anything good too, the cloudy set are water set now. If there is anything wrong please informed me, thanks. This post has been edited by unskillfulone - August 18, 2011, 06:54:25. Well quite sad to see some stuff are getting nerf in this patch.
Anyway,water equip is going to shine this time. Tree set are getting their full set bonus. |

Now I will like to tell people what's the best element for cra now : Fire cra are now the strongest cra now. Don't mind that air was kicked behind. Max Long distance combat and Range, with crow boots and a mp buff, you will have 100% critical chance when you use long distance combat. Because you have 5 Mp, in Max state, you got 20% critical per MP, So it's 110% critical chance, it's a really nice design since fire side effect is 100% in critical, so you easily deal over 100+ damage with every critical hit. Use air spell if a melee class approach. Use fire from far. It will be easier if fire cra meet range class, Use blindness arrow to blind the range class(air cra especially) and they will be pretty useless after it. |

I don't see air cra damage buff up, I lost lots of damage because the update change Arachnee set. I change my style from PVP to PvE now But fire cra got stronger And reminding that surprising arrow is kinda bugged now. Found out that I only got about 200+% damage while thinking that I got 300%+ Anyone have the same experience? This post has been edited by unskillfulone - August 18, 2011, 14:55:59. |

You are not in Line of Sight of any enemy, thats all. Dunno how bout facing enemy, but LoS works.

Surprise arrow as i see only apply the buff for 1st shoot in your turn.
To that the hidden means you need u need to be behind object ,so no enemy can hit you with ranged skill. The restriction need to be made on start of your turn ,so you need to end your pervious turn hidding behind your beacon or some tree on map. Otherwise you get no buff ,and like i said i think it only apply to one shoot anyway. It isnt so great ability ,i would pimp the crit rate first ,+20% crit for each MP sems OP. I think they will lower it later patches to like 10%. |

Why waste your ap for earth melee skill when you can pwn em with blinding arrow at pin-point range? o.O I mean, ya, okays, not always, or dmging poor ally occasionally, but lvling this spell is also priority for dmg % ;p
And yeah, Fire Cra seems best now... has attacks for all ranges, different aoes (straight line, x and square)... and biig x beacones which sometimes with skillfuly added aoe can turn into deadly traps much more effective then air or earth(as you can more easily place yerself and allies to not get hit)... Just superb ;3 |

Hmm, yeah, but find out some ways to pawn fire cra now, they are not really air's enemy if you avoid blinding arrow, XD

Just superb ;3 Air cra should run like whatever you think when encountering a fire cra, blining arrow's range is 9. If you let the fire cra run, he or she will waste lots of critical chance, while air cra doesn't really depend on those thing. but really boring because the whole thing is about using homming arrow. |

The thing is most of you too much depend on LDC... tactical placing yourself is not a 'waste of critical chance'... instead of dealing 60+90 dmg in place of normal 60+50 you can with proper beacon manevuers get easy 60+50+60 which is a bit better, and can be another 40-80 dmg from scorching...
Again, Cra is not meant to do everything alone... if some dude gets to me while I play eenie-meenie-miny-moe with opponents, beacons and obviously hot arrows, I demand fellow Iop, Air Cra or Sacr to move him away, so I can trigger ingenious trap-hell... And vice versa, when they are in pinch, I do use beacons and various shaped aoe skills to massacre annoying pests. Fire Cra ain't worse then Earth or Air... after up with LDC how it is Fire Cra at least is even to others... |

I just returned from being away and i saw the new updates, a lot has changed since the closed beta. Now, i noticed that everyone here seems to go fire or fire/air cra. Has earth cra been that outclassed? No other really useful hybrids? (i used to try to make an earth/air cra)

alot, because you cant get +2 ap right now, mby later this day they will fix that statpoint system. So you have to sacrifice alot.

And what about hybrid builds? Are they still less powerful due to not receiving all the bonuses from focusing on 1 element? Also, is there a (hard or soft) cap to skill leveling?

Just got in game, Long Distance has been capped to +50 % CH maximum. Not sure what the implications yet are but no 100 % crit chance, I'm guessing
