Earth, Fire, Air ?
posté March 31, 2012, 17:13:15 | #1
Earth, Fire, Air ? I can see a lot of compairisons for two seperate branches, but here is a one for comparing all three. What are the pros/cons for all three branches ? What about PvP, PvE ? What about single point and aoe damage compairisons ? What about strategy and fun ?

I've created this topic so that we can discuss depending on the final game release.

Air Cra
+ the best damage (maybe even the best of all chars in game)
+ very high range with Homing Arrow
- Storm Arrow eats MP, which means you can't move in order to do full combo

Fire Cra
+ biggest AoE
+ the best mobility, fire spells don't eat MP and you can get +1mp Munster Shovel
+ It's just my opinion, but fire items seem to be the best, after water ones
- single target damage is pretty bad

Earth Cra
+ the most efficient Riddling
- I haven't seen a lot of earth Cras, but his damage doesn't look so scary

I don't think, there is anything to say about tactic. Cras and Iops are the easiest champ in game, you just spam your spells. Sometimes you push someone or teleport with Beacon Sneakin.
Also, you should consider that Cras will probably get nerf, because they're OP atm.

THank you for the reply.
I've seen an earth cra at aroun level 80 ish, he was doing around 400 dmg per each turn.

I know this is just an example but this seemes a lot to me, what about the other branches ?

Well, 80 Air Cra can do like 3x150-400 (not counting brain hits) damage per turn.
Fire Cra does 300-500, but on big AoE

Sounds nice, what about AOE ?

Storm's arrow AoE has "T" shape (4 cells). It's really nice, becuase you can hit targets behind small obstacles or between your teammates without hurting them.
I've never used Explosive Arrow, but I'm pretty sure it's 3x3 square.
Str Cra's AoE is kinda weird. It's not really AoE, but a rebound.

@Earth cra: I can actually outdamage an air cra of the same level. I just have single target damage while they hit AoE. Also piercing arrow makes for some good multitarget hits if you are into that.

I hit 4 times for about the same damage as storm arrow (a little less) with an earth cra while they usually only hit 3 times (have yet to see an 8 ap, 8 mp build ^^).

Storm arrow vs lashing arrow. Storm arrow is both stronger and has aoe, but I can fire 4 lashing in a turn.

Which Cra is the best in pvp? The one with the highest ini. Cra (and few other chars) simply does way too much dmg for an amount of HP enemies have.
Other than Ini, Cra kinda depends on luck. If you crit few times or you land Riddling after first turn, your enemy is pretty much screwed.
