After upgrade Windy Beacon is BAD
Before Upgrade = Windy beacon can pushes 2 cells
After Upgrade = Windy beacon can pushes only 1 cell WHY ? push 2 cells is better than 1 cell When fight VS other class cra need to protect the range. Windy beacon is important to do this. Please upgrade and give back Windy beacon can push 2 cells or MORE. Also No W point for Retreat Arrow please,. So only beacon need W point |

Aren't you just considering your own position into this?
Having the windy beacon pushing two cells would basically make it a permanent retreat arrow, still allowing you to attack after the pushing has been done. You have to remember you can -still- use it's pushing properties, and you still can push two cells. You just will have to spend (at least) 2 more AP for that. It still deals damage so I see nothing wrong with that. This was done in order to balance battles, especially PvP. A Cra would formerly beat melee opponents very easily. Say you are fighting against an Iop. You could , back there, push it four cells with 6 AP if you'd use retreat arrow, and afterwards summon a windy beacon and activate it. That whithin the fact a Cra would move 3 more cells away with it's default MP. That is at least -seven- cells of distance between you. A Cra fighting against an Iop wouldn't even give it a chance to attack before losing. This distance has been shortened in the current patch, but still exists. The reason your pushing spells have a WP cost is exactly for limiting this vantage Cras have. And yet, 6 WP is still enough to win a match before losing all of it. As an amateur Cra, I have to say I have never finished a fight with 0 WP. Thus, unless you plan on spamming beacons and retreat arrows, I can't see a reason for your insatisfaction. |

An iop specced for it can close 10+ squares in a turn.
Let's say it's a base move 3, 8 AP build. Fairly common. Move 3, jump 2, flatten 5! Yeah flatten lets you close by 5 squares, at lvl 8. I know at least one iop running around with 6 move, and maxed flatten. You cannot escape him. This post has been edited by kaerius - November 15, 2011, 18:22:31. |

Although what I implied was just an example, you reffered to such Iop as if it would necessarily have Flatten. What if it doesn't?
I do see your point, but it isn't the main one. |
