Fire Enu on Current Version
posté January 25, 2012, 03:49:59 | #1
Fire Enu on Current Version Played with a Water Enutrof for a week - while it was fun, I realized that Fire is my favored Element. Both my experimentations for Sac and Osa utilized their Fire Trees. So why veer away from the usual?

So here I am asking for tips with the Fire Enutrof given the current version of the game. Unlike the Sac which utilized Air Spells as utility, I feel that the Enu I want will manage without taking into consideration the other Element Trees.

Since spells are basically straight-forward, I just wanted to ask:

Which Support Skills apart from Geology and Mine Mover do I invest in? (These two skills can be mastered by level 40)

My Considerations from what I have read so far:

1) Prime of Life - So I can move around more
2) Phone a Frhend + Combat Training - Honestly a bit turned-off by the fact that the growth of the summon is a bit blah. Or maybe because I haven't increased the levels high enough to see an impact. (With Water Enu - Phone (Lv.5) & Combat Training (Lv.10)
3) Enu's Blessing - Get Cutting to just steal some loot and improve melee range of Enu. And additional rewards at the end of the battle! (Although was thinking that the quality of items found in the bag is affected by Prospecting. Would anyone know?)

And my ever present question, what Attributes do I invest in?

All on HP, maybe? Does it need an extra AP from stats?

Was thinking DODGE too since some of the Fire Spells have weird range.

Avoiding INT since it will suck points dry and limit benefits to Fire related values only. While I will be Fire I want investments that would not be restricted to Fire alone.

if you rely on mines prime of life can be good because of the mobility bonus and the fact that you may need an additional mp to cast mine mover.

but i think that the dhreller with maxed phone a frhend and combat training is the best thing for a fire enu.

the dhreller is good not only for tanking but for damage dealing too thanks to the side effects of fusion: scalded and burning (i don't know if they are the same in the .312).

in the previous version i've spent stat points into 1ap (to reach 8ap with equipment) and i put the other points into hp because the dhreller is affected by them.

A very timely reply, prespicboy, thanks!

Then maybe Geology shouldn't be maxed - not immediately I guess. Dhreller serves as extra chances for unearthing mines.

The MP damage from Drheller could also buy me time in terms of using Mine Mover so I don't necessarily need to fuss about using 1MP all the time.

What's your thought on getting Cutting and a little bit of Enutrof's Blessing? (That way I can make use of the Mine's Broke state bonus as well. Just a spin from the usual Fire Build I guess.)

i dunno about enutrof blessings, you're going to split too many points on support spells and the fire enu need a lot of them.

geology / mine mover / phone a fhrend / combat training are 80+ levels of skill points to spend...

Ah. Well so much for that. Thanks for entertaining my imagination.

i'm only giving advices, you must build your char the way you like it.

i've found that fire/dhreller is really good in group with fire iop and sac because they can stack several levels of scalded state and that means a lot of more damage.

critical hits can be good too but since the monsters are stronger now you need hp to make your dhreller tank better.

Yeah. I like the Fire Element very much - and I was considering using the design you just shared.

Was thinking maybe I could squeeze in a little something to make it different. But I guess there are limitations to what you can do in order to become effective. Can't throw in points just to be different right? I might just end up frustrating myself for trying to be too diverse.

I didn't want to make a new topic about this. Anyone else got the bug, that sometimes when you use mine mover, the moved mine just disappears?
Also, prime of life should give 3% chance of gaining MP for lost HP. I have 33lvl currently and I NEVER had that extra MP.
