You don't need to have High HP and Resist to beat her (It helps but not 100% a must). I beat her with my Panda and my Anutrof... You just have to be lucky the archer spawns a bit far, and just kite it and try to stay close to the monk for the first few turns (4-5 turns) then just teleport over and over running away mainly from the mace Chafer... which is the deadly one IMHO.

I'm a Fire Pandawa with a High Crit build, and I gotta say I haven't found a more fun to play class.
They are super flexible and can dish out huge amounts of damage due to the fact that we can land behind our enemies thus taking advantage of Backstab damage.

Also Fire is better than Earth in close range battles cause they're not holding any barrels, so they can easily do damage + grab the oponent, throw and run. Where as a earth could not...

I've tried all of the pandawa element trees, I started Water, then went Fire/water, then Earth, till I finally fell for Fire. And I'm staying with it, it's hands down the funnest class you can play.

You guys do know there are better pairings than this right?

The Admihurl Set and the Big Whilidude Set give a nice amount of Resist, Damage, Critical Hits, not to mention 1 AP, 2MP, 1Range.

But it leaves the Amulet slot free, so you can use any +AP Amulet of your choice.

Sacriers are Berserkers, NOT tanks... Specially the Fire branch has Berserker written all over it.
The true tank class is supposed to be Feca, which will have its revamp soon to fulfill that role to its max.

I like this idea, also it would be nice if ankama would finally add the option for the goverment to use the tax fund to fix the machines of the nations... Which is what actually "happens" in real life with goverments.

I'm from Elbor and the goverment there has a huge amount of tax fund which is rarely used, aside from some quests, but most of it is going unwasted when the goverment has to pay with their own money to fix the machines, or the community helps, but that happens very rarely.

SO please, think about this.

Haven't read any replies to this devblog, so this might have already been said.

1. The gap between rich and poor players will not improve by letting bosses drop kamas. It is the rich players who kill bosses often, they get the rare boss drops, and they sell the rare boss drops, and that is why they are rich in the first place.

2. By introducing more kamas into the economy, inflation will occur. The fact that every single player can create brand new kamas without removing anything from the economy means that the game will always suffer inflation, but adding even more kamas by letting the bosses drop them will only make the matters worse.

3. The issue with items being considered unsellable because they are too common would not be solved by inflating the economy. It would, however, easily be solved if you were to revert the markets back to what they were a year ago (or maybe make a combination of the two systems). Back when a player could place their haven bag anywhere on the trade bridge and then register their entire haven bag content with one click, the market was thriving in a way that is impossible now. Players who are actively looking for the common drops actually have issues finding them now, because other players believe they are unsellable, but they are very much sellable if only they were easier to find. I remember trade bridges being completely filled with haven bags, so filled that you would not find ONE empty space on the entire bridge, and I am confident that the playerbase is still big enough for that to happen if only the market system were to encourage it like it used to.

4. The market would also be better off if taxes were to be applied upon sales instead of upon advertising. In the real world you pay taxes when items are actually being exchanged between people, not every single time one person is simply trying to sell it. Taxes in the game right now are discouraging selling items and therefor hurting the market. Yes, it is true that the governments will get less kamas if the taxes were to be applied less often, but the market would also be used a lot more which should result in more kamas in the treasury.

5. I like that 1 kama means a lot. It is different from other games. If it is too hard for a new player to get 1 kama, don't inflate the entire economy but just simply give them 10 kamas together with Jonk's bag and they will have a decent starter pack right there. An extra introduction of 10 kamas per character will not inflate the economy much, but all your other ideas would.

I hope it is clear that I am against all the ideas posted in this devblog, and I hope my suggestions will give you a different perspective and better ideas.
I like everything you said save the 5th. Adding another decimal to prices would help sell things that other wise wouldn't sell, say easy to get drops like Clay or Iron.

But the rest of your ideas are very good, it would help enormously if they were applied.
Hope the developers read your post and start working on that direction.

Yeah there pretty much is no work around that. It's Ubuntu's fault. I'm currently using 12.10 but I just play it on windowed mode and make the window fit my workplace. It's pretty much the only way for now, till ubuntu finally makes that bloody top bar hideable.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to obtain this resource.
It's a resource needed for a recipe in Cooking... and I have no clue as to where you get it from. Anyone care to help?

I honestly don't get all this complaining, almost every MMO out there has daily quests, nobody ever complained.
Those quests are a way to reward people for being loyal to the game for a long time amd I honestly like the idea, since often old players do not get any particular bonus or feature for sticking with the same game for months, or years. It's still the same thing, effort = profit.
I personally missed 3 daily quests already, but I don't see why I should be complaining.

And no, it isn't unfair, as it litterally takes 5 minutes to complete a quest. I.e. Today's one: Speak to the CM of Holey forest.

And I don't see the whole "I can't log in everyday" point. There's also people who have a better computer than you do, or a better connection to avoid lag and d/c's, there's people who can pay for multiple accounts, there's people who can buy more ogrines, there's people who don't go to work and can play for longer, there's even people who can play the whole day, you can't blame a kid for having more free time than you do. If this is the point, making a "fair" MMO is technically impossible.

Just food for thoughts,

-Lindel

People like you will never understand situations like not be able to connect to internet or whatsoever the first person who made this topic, summoned up..
For your care (or not) some people have A REAL LIFE!! They can't be online everyday even not for 5 minutes.

Besides making a fair MMO is Possible!! I quit wakfu for a lot of reasons and this stupid Almanax is one them. I'm playing Tera Online, and in that game you can get a mount already when you are lvl 11. I played this game for more than 2 years now, I'm playing it from early beta. I have seen a lot of crap from Ankama, and to be honest they don't respect their customers. You pay for this game, everybody has right for a mount, not only people who will play another year. The person who made this topic paid for this game too, he paid for his time in this game but what does he get?? Not even a mount!! Thats not fair,,, like I said, there are other games where you can get mounts on lvl 11 already or higher lvl. That you accept this doesn't make it "normal" or "acceptable"...

Anyway, happy wakfu'ing, I'm not wasting anytime for this game anymore, not worth it..

Cheers.
It's funny, cause people like you tend to forget this is a game. If you don't have the time to do the quests on those days, then too bad. It's still a game, you can't always have everything. and as Lindel said, it's a way to reawrd the hardcore players.

I for one work, and study, yet I have time to play this game. So that is no excuse. Call it real life, what ever. It's not an excuse.

I know that I won't have all the 365 days of the quests, cause maybe I'll go out on vacation and be away from the game etc.. you don't see me complaining about it. The mount is clearly for people who sacrifice the time to get it. Simple.

"I would like to share with you the calculation of the elemental mastery: you first start by sorting out your spells per level and then follow this calculation: (“Spell 1” x 0.1 + “Spell 2” x 0.6 + “Spell 3 * 0.7 + “Spell 4” x 0.3 + “Spell 5” x 0.3) if I'm not mistaken, of course. Those coefficients are 0.1, 0.6, 0.7, 0.3, and 0.3 per spell level by sorting them from highest to lowest."

Taken from this thread.

That's for the damage, for resist just cut that by half. So for example the 3rd spell which is usually the weakest spell of most trees is the one that gives the most elementary damage and resist, where as the last two spells which are usually the strongest give half that. Hope this helps.

You got it wrong^^ it doesnt mean spell 1 spell 2 ect. from the element tree.

it goes by the level of those spells. Your highest spell in the element tree gives 0,1, 2nd highest 0,6 and so on
Oh, okay. I had understood it the other way, that's cool then.

Although what if all my spells are at equal lvl? do I get the x2 multiplier? or just the 0.1 since they're all the highest.

I love how a major nerf to the panda (cannot carry monster anymore) is presented as a way to save AP. It's not a nerf, it's a feature!

Also why subtract tactical possibilities instead of adding them or leaving them be? Is there anyone in this game convinced that panda needed a nerf? Or the fire rogue for that matter?
You understood wrong. Pandas can still pick up mobs and players, etc with Karchamrak, what you couldn't before, now and ever is pick up things like eggs, beacons etc... which before it would give you the option but fail thus costing you a PA, now it'll just tell you up front that you can't do that. I think it's a good change.

May be a dumb question but .... The higher my level of Stasis greater damage with my attacks Stasis?Or the calculations of Stasis Ecosystem are not tied to combat?

Ecosystem Stasis has nothing to do with it.

The damage is set and can only be increased via

-Backstab modifier (and backstab gears)
-Crit
-Stasisfied Debuff

You are not supposed to be building pure stasis with Foggernaut. The stasis branch gains twice as much exp compared to other branch. You are suppose to level it ALONG with the other branches.

Nyeheh~
Are you 100% sure that Stasis gains more exp?

Source: Click Here

Ultimate Bosses are immune to Stasified state and have resistance against Statis damage :|

Yes, and more precisely the Stasis resist of the Ultimate bosses equals 70% of final resist.

Basically, a Stasis Foggernaut will only deal 30% of damage to an Ultimate Boss.
Thanks Troyle for the information.

About the UBs' resistance against Statis, isn't 70% final resist too much? They are immune to the Stasified state so Statis's damage can't be increased. A 10 AP Statis Foggernaut using x2 Heart of Steam would only do about 104 damage per turn.

Isn't it then a disadvantage to have a Statis Foggernaut in an UB battle?
Indeed.. it is pretty dumb... I mean with other classes you could use a pandawa to lower resist from the UB.. but for the Foggers... you can't. Pretty sad, I was hoping on using the Foggers on UB's...

It doesn't always have to be pay to win when there's a F2P MMO.
They could keep the P2P system for people that want extra, but open up more content to the free players, I for one would always be a P2P, I always like playing the whole package, they could let free players interact with the game, but leave the islands/Goverment, etc to de P2P.

For the Cash Shop items, we already have them, I don't see the damage, it's not pay to win.

Free players do help out in gameplay, more people means more chance for new customers when a player invites a friend to play. Also more people to interact with. It is the main reason why most MMORPG's are turning F2P now, cause they've finally seen that is better.

We can only hope... This game's population would grow exponentially if so... Almost all MMORPG's are starting to get that F2P gains them more money than P2P. And also more players... so company wins and we players win.
