0.312 Osas
More monsters to capture! Yayyyy!
Summons have 50% - 75% of the stats/dmg/hp! oh... BS I'd get the fact it they made it scale from 50% - 100%, but limiting them to 75% is just... sad. I wonder if they nerf all the classes bcz they want OP items in the cash shops. This post has been edited by Ryuujikyon - January 05, 2012, 14:07:46. |

Symbiosa nerf was kind of stupid since Gobgob leveling system was also nerfed, indirectly affecting Symbiosa.
The scaling on leveling was also bad. Only for extra ranges and less cost. Earth and Fire became more interesting because of their new damage and the fact you can get more summons. Symbiosa is only purely for look now and if you want to play Osa, you must go summon. I will still go Symbiosa for some fire breathing pleasure fangasm though. Osamodas right now is such a joke. You train to lvl 20 for what? To summon a (never as strong as ) Warchief or a (soon to be lvl 20 ) Gobgob .So sad ~.~

I got a question though, in one of the french forums one of the dev posted that although we osas lost some of our summons power as we have seen 50%-75% dmg, this would be compensated by letting us summon mobs whose combined lvl would be equal or less than double the osa lvl, so is this valid or not???

I'm going to try it out for a week or at least 40 levels before giving a full feedback on this.
0.311 Osa was pretty strong since I can just throw in a gobball to tank while I deal damage from afar or go Symbiosa and kite everything. 0.312 pretty much forces me to change my playstyle to either go pure summon or Summon + Feeding + Symbiosa. Symbiosa still need to have its ability tweaked though since there really isn't a point in leveling it too much when all you get is lower cost and longer range. Edit : Life currently as an Osa is much easier. The summon 25% reduction was needed. Remember, the mobs deal much higher damage and more actions now so your summon is pretty much a stronger as well. It is very hard to play with Osamodas, because the monsters lose a lot of HP(Only until 70% Original). The attacks/defense decreased little okay, the problem is in the HP! The Warchief hits 50 hp, my monsters die in 1 hit. Only Rat have 64 Hp.
It's battle alone okay, I know my limits. But in a group? We can not help much, because we need to fight with stronger monsters. So, I was playing with my friend and I lost more than 10 invocations for level up, while I will have to be capturing it all again. Also, whenever I can only summon 1 monster, at most 2, because there is no advantage I increase leadership. Place monsters that die with one hit? not funny. We have to catch "20 monsters" to train well, it's boring! Scram and Sadidas haven't this. Increase or heal spells when my monster die?? No! Its cool when we put the monster in the game I do everything so that he not die. So... I still prefer the style of Closed Beta, which evolved in our animals. I love Osamodas, because I really like invocation, but still needs some adjustments. I wanted something that would increase their HP. The way it is now is fine for the summoning. If the summons obtain even more HP or the same damage as the original, they will be somewhat OP in PVP. Right now, I just train by simply throwing in some GooGoo and let them deal all the damage from afar while I tank and deal extra damage using Boohowl.
Symbiosa and Air branch are very underpowered right now though and that needs to be fixed. Nyeheh~ |

I don't have problem with the reduction on summon stat. I think we can fix that with equipment (like Kloom shield + 20% summon damage - if they already fix this ). But i think the summon restriction seem too much (summon lvl = your level) .And i really don't like the change on range of boohowl ,before it was aoe now we can only target on line.

The current summon is a lot more powerful than what we had on the last patch.
Think of it this way. 75% of a Gobball warchief doing 40 per hit compared to a 100% of a Gobball warchief doing 20 per hit. 30 Vs 20. The one in this patch is dealing more damage for you. I'm only level 13 right now but I'm running around killing stuffs by just summoning 2 Googoo and simply use one skill and wait for the fight to end for quick EXP and quick skill EXP. My DPT is already at 30-40 from simply using 1 Boohowl + 2 summon attack. Everyone else around my level was barely dealing above 20. I mean, have you seen the Tofu now? Last patch Tofu uses Peck : 7 damage Current patch Tofu uses Peck : 23 damage. Now, run around with those tofu at low level and watch them destroy everything while you stand still and tank or heal the summon via Magpie. I'm so summoning 2 Tofu / 1 Warchief at lv 20. Don't just simply look at the %. Compare the old stat with the new stat as well. Nyeheh~ This post has been edited by Zeitzbach - January 06, 2012, 16:21:11. |

1. Sram is new. Expect them to be nerfed later.
2. They choose summon = you die slower = you summon more = more damage 3. Lv 15 : Googoo + Googoo + Smith needle = 15 + 15 + 23 damage = 53 damage per turn. Replace 1 Googoo with 1 Tofu at lv 16. Nyeheh~ |

I think in the PVP Osamodas improved.
However, in group battles, our monsters are very limited. One hit and he dies. And we have to catch it again several times... = / I can't use one monster for tank. 2 Tofus has at most 70% of 50HP, so 35 HP each. In a battle they are killed quickly. If I use a Warchief, I can not use another monster at the same time. If it were possible I prefer a tofu lv 20/21/22/23 *-* than a Warchief lv 20 rsrs This post has been edited by CarlosFeBr - January 07, 2012, 01:03:13. |

IOP dont got Nerfed :]
Osa, Summon = ranged/runers other agresive = die You now need to ditch out even more damage in time or else, you will die. Before, you can go "I solo through everything" using Air iOPs and run around with near max HP at the end of the fight. Now, I'm watching Air iOPs finish lv 20+ fight near death or something.
