Water Ecaflip after new update?
So I've just made a new Ecaflip following pure water build instead of water/air, air or earth. I hope experienced players can give me some advices about good tricks, possible combos, special combinations, etc. (for both water only and air/water build)
We have 5 spells like this: - Rough tongue: simple 2 AP melee spell - Fleabag: 3 AP + 1 WP spell, cast on self, low damage, activate when being attacked, reduce some percentage of the enemy's water damage resistance - Fleahopper: 3 AP spell, range 1-4, requires a target to cast, only damage the target being casted one (the centre cell of area of effect) and increase critical hit chance of any allies standing next to the target (including self) - Fleeches: 4 AP + 1 WP spell, range 1-4, creates a large zone that inflicts damage on any enemies being hit while standing inside (only 1st hit count). Useful when fighting multiple targets. Usually I precast Flea Love on one enemy, then next turn, cast Fleeches on both that enemy and another one standing near, then hit the one without Flea Love and at the end both will be hit by Fleeches. - Flea Love: 5 AP + 2 WP spell, range 1-5, throws a flea on a target, dealing about the same damage as Rough Tongue. In the next round, the flea will bite the target a 2nd time when it's the target's turn. And in the 3rd round, at the target's turn, the flea will return a lot of HP and 2 WP to you. Related special abilities: - Smelly cat: when casting a flea spell on a target, there's a percentage that the target will suffer the allergic state. The effect of the state is unknown to me. Still, the chance of it happening is so low at low level that I don't recommend getting this at first. (this skill is said to be still broken on NA forum, though I'm not sure) - Flealine Army: +0-40% life stolen by flea spells or 0-20% of causing Flea Love if use Air/Earth spell (it seems that the level of Flea Love here is not always level 1, as someone on NA forum said). The effect is very apparent for pure water Ecaflip, it will makes you substantially more durable so I think it's a good skill. Attention: this skill draws 2 WP from your current WP then returns them after 2 turns as the original Flea Love. So I don't know what will happen if you have less than 2 WP left, will the effect occur and if it occurs, will it return 3 WP? Edit: Flea Love: if the target get killed before the flea returns HP to you, there won't be any WP back. Some descriptions can potentially be wrong, so feel free to comment on and/or correct them. |

Not too late to post in this thread yet, is it?
I have a lv48 pure water eca which I've played since ecas came out. Right now in the current version it's pretty neat. 7AP is pretty much a must, 8AP would of course be even better. Going for HP after buying one extra AP might not be a bad idea either. You can fight as a mid-range fighter, but going melee is possible too. Raising crit chance is one way to up your damage too. It seem like for special abilities a water eca needs only the passives. Flealine Army is a must because self-heal is awesome! For some reason I maxed Paws Off too. It does provide some nice defense sometimes. Smelly Cat is an obvious water eca ability but it doesn't seem to work properly right now, so for now I haven't raised it. I started raising the Crit ability instead, because hey why not, I'm gonna have high crit all the time anyway because of Fleahopper. To tactics: With 7AP: Flealove, Rough Tongue Fleeches, Fleahopper Fleahopper, Rough Tongue x2 Depending on situation throw a Fleabag on someone With 8AP: Flealove, Fleahopper Fleeches, Rough Tongue x2 (on two different targets for more healing) Fleahopper x2, Rough Tongue These are the combos I would use if I didn't have The Crocobur though. With Crocobur I can go Fleahopper (3AP), Crocobur (4AP) instead against one target, which deals at least 50 damage or on crit up to 80 damage! |

Smelly cat works fine now. Really useful skill i must say. At max you have around 1/3 chance to apply Allergic state, which will take away 1/10 of opponent life, if he will attack you.As water eca are focused on making around 3 hits per turn, it's great way for extra damage. One note: Allergic state hits with water element, so resists still works (or - resists

No, Allergic sux. It only triggers with Flea Love and Fleahopper (which only use is to support your melee teammates that necessarily need to be in adjacent cells from enemy, bad damage/lifesteal and you make no use of critical bonus) and damages well only if the target doesn't have water resistance, when it goes over 60% its pretty weak.

So, to sum up - water eca makes any sence after remake?
