Paws Off don't has affect in max level My paws off is level 20 and when you get max level appear one new effect, but i think this effect was to let the attacker turn behind to you, but it keep the same effect...
I think this skill is not so good to spend points, since it is hard to work and i think crit failure is bugged, because in 20 hits (in test against one iop) only one fail...

Yup paws off works like:
u have 30% to push some1 off BUT if he does have more mp he can just come near you again, and u have 30% to give him crit failure percentage at max lvl paws off.
it isnt like u have both and crit failures aura surrounds you

Paws off is an awful skill it isnt worth putting pts into.

I believe it says quite clearly that it should be turning the ecaflip to face the enemy if the aforementioned eca is approached from behind.

They have to get to an adjacent cell and your passive has to activate to give him a critical failure rate.
If he already stays right infront of you when his turn begins, he won't get critical failures.
This passive skill is useful against pure melees but it won't help you anymore if you don't get away each round he's right next to you.
