Ecaflip overhaul, wrrry?

Ecaflip overhaul I've lurked the kitty forums for quite some time and I was wondering why did ankama decide to overhaul ecaflip? Tried the class myself and it has really gone alot of changes, obviously good ones seeing that before only the earth tree seems to be the only tree doing extremely well.

Now that water is clearly support/self heal, air is the dps like tree, and earth is still the high risk/reward tree I'm lead to wonder; "what exactly is wrong with the class that it's taken out for an 'overhaul'"?

it's true that the eca is a viable class but the earth spells system suck, as i've already told in another thread i prefer to have 5 spells with random effects instead of 5 random spells over 10 that have all the same effects...

the water branch is not that bad too but i think that the allergic state needs some work and better mechanics.

the air branch seems fine to me, probably it's the only one that doesn't need changes.

Ecaflip really felt like a mechanicless class to me personally. Just three random element threes that did not seem to have any relation between each other - No underlying mechanic that the utility skills would be based around. In fact, I really did not like that some utility skills were specifically targeted to either earth or wind (Where's the utility in that?)

Wind was viable, but not really fun in any way imho.


I hope the class will get a better underlying mechanic and some synnergy in between the elements, much like other classes.
