Am i doing something wrong?

Ok so this is my Enri. I just want to know if i'm going on the right path here. I know i made a big mistake of making this enri without consulting the boards first, but hey its a learning experience. so here is how i play.

1. Casting Unnatural Remedies on opponents.
2. Casting Invigorating Word 4 AP
3. Casting Renewing Word 2AP

I know people dont really like Invigorating Word, for the life of me i dont know why. At this stage, With the Unnatural Remedies, casting Healing word i can only attain 24 damage so x2 since its 3AP each that 48 damage. With Renewing Word, 2AP spell, i get a damage of 18 each, so 18x3 = 54 damage. With Fortifying Word i can get a ddamage of 58, but the problem is that Fortifying word also uses 1WP so you can get only 3 attacks when combined with Unnatural Remedies so i really dont use that a lot. But with Invigorating Word i get a damage of 46, + 1 Renewing Word 18 i get a max damage of 64, and the best part is the Invigorating Word heals me 30HP. and if i have a Coney nearby it heals that for 11Hp. There is just something i dont get with Invigorating word, 8 out of 10 time i do get the max damage of 46, but once in a while when i do cast it i get a damage of just 18. Its weird, its like the bonuses didnt apply, and its right in the same combat and same opponent. Also the fact even at lvl 38, i dont sit around that much waiting for my HP to go up.

Somewhere lvl 30ish, i noticed that Unnatural remedies can only go so far. When fighting groups of 2 and with HPs of 200+ 6WP isnt enough so thats when i decided to lvl up my air spells. But frankly its not even making a dent. Even with Spell lvls of 20+ my air spells do minimal damage. i can only do around 30-36 damage with the Pain Flasks, Psykosis Flasks is better doing 24 damage but only usable once since it uses 3MP. Infected Flask is slightly better especially when Ganggreen kicks in, but the problem is it uses 6AP and Gangreen only kicks in 1-2 times out of 10. The fire marks aren't really helpful, too low a damage and too high AP costs. So i really dont know where to go from here

So my question is, is this character salvageable? Is there a route i can take that will make this character better or just redo everything. I dont mind lvling up some more to fix the problems, since i can party up with guild members. Im beginning to love the enri class but my problem is the very low damage and the difficult solo game especially on high lvl monsters. I just need a character that can heal well and does a decent damage output.

can anyone suggest? Where can i go from here?

it is still fine if you want to be a healer. you just need to group now when trying to level up and you might be needing heal equip but the good armor set for healing is about mostly lvl 45+. what you might want for your level is the eni rings that gives +5 heal and add +2 lvl to water spells and royal gobbal helm. when you reach about lvl 45+, try to get the whirly set minus the helm, a boowolf helm, boowolf belt. boowolf helm have lesser +heal than royal gobbal helm but combine with boowolf belt you will get additional hp bunos.

for a healer, i think the best way is to get unnatural remedy + water spell for damage instead of air spell, the level of your air and fire spell is still good since it is also advisable to have your other elements spell leveled to about 20 or maybe 25 or 30 so that you will be getting resistance for those elements. level up also all your water spells, that lvl 20 water spell of yours (i forgot the name of the spell) is a good healing spells which enable you to heal and damage enemies at one cast. and after you max expert healer, max constitution next.

the problem though is that the healer path can't solo very well, you need to have a group but this is always the best way to level for all classes anyway. iop, cra, xelor and every class is much better to level with a group.

Well, i guess what i was asking is if there are other Enri out there that was built for battle. I mean aside from the healing spells, which spells do you use to battle opponents and whats the lvl and damage of them. I guess i've gotten used to my Iop making huge damages, i was hoping my Enri can do the same and then still heal. I know its too much, the Enri cant come close to the damages of these frontline characters, but still, looking for a better way to PvE the game using the Enri.

Thanks for the reply iKoAsAy, i get where your coming from, but the problem is still there, after finishing my 6WP from using unnatural remedies, i will be forced to go either Air or Fire. Which would be better to lvl up, since from my perspective none of them really do some decent damage.

Its prob best to save up on points for that additional AP.

yup you can't use heal as damage anymore when you are out of WP with unnatural remedy, but if you can inflict damage about 150-200 damage per turn, 900-1200 damage per battle while healing party members and mark monster (and in maya, you will be debuffing kraloves), i think that's already ok.

if i remembered correctly, fire spells are ok because of it's effect and not because of it's damage, but i think they are mostly much better as your secondary element and fire as secondary element are great because the effects it gives you does not rely on other fire spell level. you can have just one mark at high level and you will get the full benefit of it's effect.

for air, i think you will still not be able to compete with other class in terms of damage. i plan on creating one before, i think it will good for air to have crit because crit can increase chances of inflicting the effects of air skill, infected flask can have 50% chance to inflict ganggreen on crit. and adding super coney as healer might be a good idea.

i've never seen high level air eni though, and if you plan in doing one you will need to start a new one and maybe focus more on air spell (start from level 1) to get more damage from it.

and yes you should have taken +1 ap.

Got it, thanks for the info. i didnt realize that the heals spells coupled with good equipment can go as high as 150 damage. the most ive seen on higher lvl Enri are about 100damage and these were lvl 50s. In anycase, i have a goal now thanks to you.

1. Concentrate on getting Heal bonuses equipment.
2. start saving for that +1 AP
3. After expert healer, Constitution, and prob Super Coney, or maybe that damage absorption thing.

if you're not from amakna save/make kamas to buy detonating powder and go exp at bandits with a group this will help a lot (your spells are really low for your level).

You can mind on restarting the char, save points for the +ap attitude (early on you can have 8 ap as soon as you get gob set+satisfaction ring, stay in backlines and heal your teammates and use marks).
