Battle/Tank eni
So, I've been mulling over this, and I'm considering giving it a shot:
Water/Air eni, with points distributed between crits, lock, and HP. Maxed crits woulds maximise the status effects of Psychosis, Infected, and Lethargy flasks, making them actually quite useful. Lock keeps enemies on the eni and away from allies, and HP is obvious. Specialities: Regeneration, Absorption, and Transcendance would probably be the major ones, followed by Constitution (once it starts working properly), Heal drain, and Expert Healer at later levels. I know expert healer is normally a major eni requirement, but it's totally outdone by regeneration on a tank-ey eni with only 3 hits, and exceeded with further hits. So, at lower levels, with only regen., I'd be healing about on par with other enis, and at higher levels, I'd be healing significantly more. going all out wind would mean a lower level eni wouldn't be as reliant on other players, and could actually feasibly solo 1 on 1. Removing the reliance on killing enemies (ie. the entire fire tree) helps there as well. I'd probably level coney anyways, though, for the chance of extra heals. Renewing and fortifying word would be hugely important, for ranged heals and non-LOS heals. Revitalising becomes pretty much useless, as I'd just be healing the enemies I'm next to loads. Renewing would probably beat out healing word, even though it heals less, as getting +2 ap (and thus an extra renewing) is much more feasible than +3 ap for an extra healing word. And invigorating word just kinda sucks. All of this depends on a couple things, though: firstly, is there actually a max level for HP and lock? If not, how much lock do you guys think a char needs to be an effective locker at higher levels? Also, does anyone know how many rounds the +heals effect of regeneration lasts? Right now, my eni (prettyboy, lvl 20, in case anyone wants to say hi) is water/fire, with all his points in wisdom. It was my first char, so I figured I'd just level quickly while I got to grips with things. Also, there'll probably be at least one more points reset during beta, and I've heard plenty of talk of Ankama wiping all chars for the full release, so I'm probably gonna have to recreate him regardless... Thoughts? |

hey, if i were you i would totally skip expert healer (+30% heals over 200 levels are nothing and as you state regeneration is much better).
you don't have to underestimate revitalising word, with 8 ap you can heal a lot with it and healing word. as an air/water eni you can use fear flask to push away enemies and heal allies. 8 ap are great for a combat eni you can heal and damage the same turn, maybe some gear with + range helps. there aren't any hp/lock cap for the moment, you have to invest a lot on hp because mobs are really tough. Hey, just made eni and trying to do same as in you guide but i think air is better for Dmg? Maybe u can give some advice? Water/Air eni, with points distributed between crits, lock, and HP. Quote Also, does anyone know how many rounds the +heals effect of regeneration lasts? this effect will still working as long as you don't use any attack skill or get attack by enemy
PS.if you just want to see some funny tactic and skill, try to fight with hooldum mob that have Eni in their group This post has been edited by TinyLaNorthio - September 02, 2011, 12:18:10. |

PS.if you just want to see some funny tactic and skill, try to fight with hooldum mob that have Eni in their group That wont work, fighting hooldum, well they're cheaters. The enri in that group casts zombification and it lasts 3 rounds unlike the players that only last one round. If u cast a rebirth maek on a hood enri, and you kill it you'll be able to control it for one round and if you look at the spells that they have they only have about 3-4 spells in the roster. Also the spells are random, sometimes you get an enri that is a water type, sometimes you get a fire, or air. You never get one that has a combination of the elements. |
