I've caught a lvl 35 Royal Tofu before but remember I had to wear a crap load of will boosting items ("volonte" in french). I had an enu trap him in with the glaciers (twice, since the first time he will use an AOE spell) and wittle him down to about 2HP. Granted it was before 1.07 so I'm not sure if anything has changed.

Edit: Seduction was around 48 and lvl 50.

The Veuvre Sombre is good with corpereal exchange. Mine takes 35HP per Ap used with his spell. I fought Royal Tofu which has 12AP, he was toast in 4 rounds. Matrone is Powerful. Levrier is pretty broken too, he can summon infinitely.

I dunno what was wrong with their original idea of no levels. From what I understand they planned on having them tied to professions (ie chopping wood gives u str, alchemy wisdom etc) This was a good idea and would motivate people to hit 2 birds with one stone. The synergy in some of the professions already was worked in well and would have made many diverse stats.

As for the remarks about Dofus, I think /away prevents anyone interacting with you even if they are right next to you. Hopefully this is included in Wakfu as I've been NoobSlowed too.

As for the Eco system, I think a good approach would be having permanent, untouchable spawn areas and having all that dead traveling space be modifiable. You could run around in Dofus for a half hour and see nothing but blops and kanigrous, so why not use that traveling space for the moddable eco system while still having a place to actually find the mob you want.
A fun way to do this would be having a chance to capture any monster in the game as a pet which lvls which you're in combat (but not usable like osa, just stand next to you like dofus) which can give +bonuses like dofus pets. But the catch is, you can release it when it reaches its lvl cap (say like lvl 30 for Gobbal)
It then gives you a random drop from the monster type, then proceeds to become wild & Attackable with custom name (You can even plant an item on it before release). From there it attacks mobs it encounters and can spawn a lvl 1 version of itself for every 5 or so it kills. A concerted effort to have a species overrun an area would then take time as you have to Max lvl it first (requirement) then it would have to survive all the battles in the area. But some noob can't just kill it so it has a chance.

But its nothing but watch and wait for now, dreams and reality are worlds apart. So far there is nothing innovative in the beta.

Yeah, thats how spell XP works, it gets divided to how many spells you use in the fight. So if you only used once spell for the entire fight versus say a royal gobbal, you would get like 300xp points versus 96-56-25 It exponentially gets lower and lower the more spells you use to almost nothing.

You also get XP bonus for how fast you kill too. So it seems Osa will by default get more since they can just pass their turn every round for the fastest fight.

Summons automatically adjust to your lvl. Once you reach lvl 8 it will go to lvl 8 with you. As for it not doing anything, its a common bug and usually happens when there are a lot of people on the server. French time is 6 hours ahead of US time so try to play playing when France is asleep for the least lag.

Update was lame. No major fixes, few new monsters, and day night system sucks. Its just like they bumped down the gamma and its harder to see. I was expecting something like diablo where you kind of have a light circle around you to enhance the effect and a gradient, not just all dark. So does PP work like they say now at least?

Hmm, they made it sound like they were adding a lot more than this. I remember a mod saying there was an almost complete overhaul on many spells, new items, systems, etc. Maybe just undocumented?

You can go full VIT and become support with Corporeal Exchange. You can buff 4AP-6AP with piwi (it stacks!), give 30+ crits with dobermoog, 30+ dmg with Warrior Tofu, etc. etc. As it stands Osa are the most powerful in the game right now. The only way to beat em is to out ini them and steal AP for no cast.

In my opinion this situation doesn't warrant a complete reset, but perhaps all kama and equipment erased. Since wisdom doesn't work, the only advantage people got was buying equipment to kill "slightly" faster and didn't really get that much of a leg up against non cheaters since rare equips have to drop first. It would create a level playing ground without starting at zero.

Complete resets should only happen when there is a major patch overhaul.
