Got technical trouble? Try these tricks first! Here are some things you should try if you're having technical problems.

1) Update your graphics card drivers. This is particularly useful if you're getting a black screen on startup or getting an error about Unsupported Material.

For Windows, right-click the "My Computer" icon, click "Properties", choose the "Hardware" tab, click "Device Manager."
Click the + next to "Display Adapters," which should list your graphics card. Choosing it should bring up a menu to update the drivers.

2) Turn off any other programs that might be using up your memory. This includes music players, file sharing, instant messaging, etc. Wakfu uses a lot of RAM, and Vista in particular is a memory hog, so this tip is especially true if you have Vista.

3) Change to windowed mode, or to a lower resolution. This can be done through the game options menu. The fewer graphics you have to render, the faster the game will be.

4) Turn off the game sound and music. This will save some memory.

5) Turn off the shaders. This can be done using the Video tab on the game options menu. I have no idea what they are, but they give some people's graphics cards all manner of grief.

6) Uninstall and reinstall the game.

7) Reboot the computer.

For me its coming," Pour jouer a wakfu, assurez vous qut vos piotes (drivers) de carte graphique sont a jour. Pour plus d'informations, reportez vous aux FAQs sur le forum officiel de Wakfu". I tried the 1st tip you told by right-clicking 'My computer' and i clicked 'Properties'. Then there was only two tabs called 'General' and 'Shortcut' and i clicked everywhere possible and there were no hardware tabs. Could you help me out.

Sorry if my English is poor, it's just that i was writing in a hurry.

@JackyTheMan, the account you are trying to update on must have administrative powers, so I guess your parents or something will have the admin account, speak to them

I was playing the game earlier today with nothing more than my usual blackout areas problems. I had recently changed the screen size on the game. Instead of making it larger, like I wanted; it made the playing screen smaller. So in an attempt to regain the original size, I changed the setting to a smaller size. Now I cannot play the game at all and I'm getting the message that my driver is not suitable for the game.

It is updated and the game worked until I tried to change the playing screen size. Any suggestions will be welcome.

For anyone else who might have this same problem - I did manage to solve it on my own.

I had to go into the game records in the programs on the C: drive. I removed all the changes to the video that I had made. Then came the fun part...

When I tried to load the game it wouldn't load, no video records (at least that is what I believe). So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Then it decided I couldn't play because I have an Intel Graphics card. Fun!

After I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, I finally had to use the link for those with problems loading. After it loaded it said my graphics weren't good enough for the game. But I was able to play it, though it was kind of a mess, so I quit playing for a bit.

Thinking about the whole situation made me decide to try it again. So I opened the game and at that time it was back to normal. It was exactly the way it originally was, but what a trial to get it there!

When I try to move, I get "teleported" back to where I started. I have tried all of these tips, but they didn't help. <_<

Also tried /suicide, it only works for about 5 seconds.

I resolved the problem. You have to uninstall wakfu and delete the folder. then re install the game XD.
