You can`t find Moowolf?

You can`t find Moowolf? Don`t worry. It isn`t so simple.

Just wondering, if anyone found Moowolf since last Hotfix?

I was looking for him since 17 may... with no result. Is it bug or i don`t have enough luck.

At french forum there is a disscusion about WB. People are worried about new conception of 'random' respawn of Moowolf and Lord Crow. Why? It is ultra hard to find a 'random' respawned mob, even if you spend all day there.

Dear devs - I got solution for this problem. Here is my concept how it should work.

#1 World Boss should be like NPC.

There should be a 'exchange' battle system. To battle Moowolf players should bring him for example 'Moowolf soup' that chief could make at level 80:



Recipe for 'Moowolf soup"
500x Boowolf Steak (Trapper Level 60)
500x Popcorn (Level 70 farmer)
500x Sea boowolf (Level 45 Fisherman)
500x Menthol (Herbalist)



Recipe for 'Lord Crow soup'
500x Crow Gizards (Trapper)
500x Dragocarp (Fisherman)
500x Silly Strawberry (Farmer)
500x Menthol (Herbalist)

Well this is only a example. This kind of recipes should be ultra hard to make. Why? It`s called 'Team Work'. If WE want to fight Boss WE need to gather resources and WE must find a Chief with 80+ Level. Yeah, It should be team work.

Thanks to this conception of WB lot of people will make progres in Chief, Herbalist, Fisherman, Trapper profesions. Well, in this case leveling those profesions would make sense.

#3 Drop rate for items like Moowolf Set and Lord Crow Set must be decreased, because WB would be more accesible in this case.

This kind of system will give an opportunity to fight Boss without camping like 4-5 days and just running around. It is really boring and dismotivating.

The idea of spawning the world bosses (in this case they aren't really world bosses anymore) using an item is really nice.

I'd recommend the ingredients for making the required item to include some rare products of different crafting professions instead of just gathering profession and the recipes for those ingredients must require different items including normal materials of significant (but not too high) quantity and some rare materials (dropped materials, of small quantity, i.e. 1-4). This is to provide a sufficient challenge for players to get access to the boss without getting bored of doing self-collecting of a great amount of ingredients. The goal is to make each participated person contact different people and request helps from them to collect a long list of ingredients as well as crafted products, each of which isn't of great amount, just being very diversified.

Also, to avoid the effort of the group being stolen by other players, it is best to design a map, or feature inside the lunar and crow dungeons, such as an altar or a door where players can place the "item" or use a "key" to summon/meet the boss.

An example is like this: the "item" needs to be crafted in a special place (like Justice cave) or simply a normal working machine (for example, crafting a key using jeweler's setter), requiring 0 crafting level so as to let everyone have the chance to make the final item.

However, the ingredients for the final item will be: item A, B, C, D and E
- A can be a cooking product lvl 60
- B can be a handyman product lvl 55
- C can be a close combat product lvl 70
- D can be a tailor product lvl 65
- E can be a something special, for example a box of full lunar set
(this is just an example, level of those crafted ingredients probably need to be raised by 5-10 level and from different professions than those listed above)

Each item A, B, C, D will require 1-4 ingredients: W, X, Y, Z with
- W being a normal harvested item, quantity 50-70
- X being a crafted materials (not a finished product) of that profession, quantity 10-20
- Y being a boowolf/miliboowolf normal drop (in case for moowolf), quantity 30-50
- Z being a rare drop from monsters/bosses in the last map of the Lunar dungeon, quantity 3-4

^Thus harvesters have extra demands, crafters have extra demands and high level set items have a "way out" of the economy. You can't possibly do this alone except being a masochist...

In other words, it has to be something that can be done with effort, but harder than elite riktus, much harder.

I love it! it rewards people who do more than just killing monsters and its great for guilds. working together has always been a mayor thing for wakfu and this is a great addition!

You have a strange logic. Camping boss, for example, for 2 hours each guildmate cant called teamwork?
Spawn WB system is now balanced. All have the same opportunity to catch him, just lazy peoplenot willing to spend time for it and prefer to invent a system simplification.

You must understand, some people have private live... YES. It can be shock for you, but it is true. I`m 27 and got work, wife and crazy dog - i can`t spend 24h camping for WB. I can`t afford it. I got some obligations. I usually play 2-4h per day - so it is almost impossible for me to find and battle WB... If you think the World Boss system is "balanced" - i must disagree with you. Sorry, but there are lot of people like me. Why are we excluded from the possibility of fighting WB just because we have family, work and private life? Every one should be able to fight WB. That`s my opinion.

To be frank, I still dont get why the beta system on fighting the Black Crow changed at all.
There were 3 items that would drop from the boss in the Crow Dungeon and would allow you access to Black Crow. If you were really lucky you could drop all 3 in one go, if not you'd drop none. Each member of your team still needed to possess 1 of them to be able to join the fight. That usually took a few runs through the crow dungeon in order to get a full party.

It was balanced, not too time-taking, accessible to everyone and the gear was still not very easy to drop but you could try to get it more often more often.

Why exactly did this change?

I really hope no matter how it ends up getting fixed, it will be better than now though.

omg a lot of drama coz casuals wanna kill it too and it's fair that devs must change current system or they lost some players. anyone wanna full fun from game, devs must make it hard easy interesting or smth else expect it now, coz now it's impossible for 99% of players.

And for me changing this system sad, coz the current system is good and competitive.

im playing 3-4 hours per day and i never see moowolf or black crow. It's sad for me for sure, but whine about it? lol. Nice and fair system like MVP in RO.

This is really bad system, imo. No content should be restricted by the time of day/week, because it becomes completely inaccesible for some players.
Plus, it's very boring. At the moment, if you want to attack moo/bc, you have to wait for few hours, wait, wait.... wait........... AND THEN CLICK AS FAST AS YOU CAN!. How can anyone like this?
